****UPDATE**** So... I let the mouse stay plugged and charged and have been using in much longer sittings than 2-3 hours (with RGB on). I have (according to Steam) used it for over 9 hours played time and it's still going strong. It could be it stopped or did not fully charge on my first bout with the mouse. I just wanted anyone who happens to read further into this - know about this.
So as you already know I have the Impact M908 and being my first MMO gaming mouse it has taken some getting use to. I find myself using a variant of a claw grip in order to be able to press all of the side buttons which as you said all stiff and stiffer the farther back you go say as button 11. I wish the side buttons had a rougher texture as well as the rest of the mouse instead of the gloss. love the weight and the size as I have a large hand . Been a real learning experience for me . Definitely looking forward to trying other mice. Hope all is well and keep up the great vids.
To go less stiff I'd imagine theyd have to go something more quality/mechanical. The Scimitar Pro has kind of that sweet spot for me. Thanks for the well-wishes! Hope all is well with you also!
i've been thinking of getting this mouse. i use the g600 but the side buttons are very stiff and hard to press and it ends up hurting and tiring out my thumb very quickly. the side buttons on this mouse, are they stiff and hard to press as well?
The wired versions allows you to Program the 2 DPI buttons but the wireless one does not. Therefore you get more programmable buttons with the wired version.
I use my Razer Naga for everything I play, from fps like Apex or Warzone to games like Celeste and Cuphead. At this point I don't know if I could switch mouse style, especially with stuff like rocket league where i have over 1000 hrs with a very unique keybinding. Always interested in mice like this for when my Naga eventually dies.
I just replaced my old old naga with this one and the only thing that I'm missing is the side buttons to use on the web browser to go backwards or forwards
And regarding latency, is it too much? Having the adapter very close to the Mouse, does the latency feel too much? Or would you say that latency is something that doesn't bother you? It worries me when playing apex
i got this mouse with a Redragon K596, the mouse is actually amazing, i use it for work... not for gaming, got all the short cuts i need mapped to the buttons, 1 button to switch off the RGB, so you do not have to use it on eco mode if you want.
Can anyone help me rq...I try to charge it but it won't tell me how to charge the instructions say the scroll is supposed to tell how much charge it has but it isn't telling me how much charge it has it doesn't I haven't charged it since I got it about 1-2 months but it doesn't tell me how much charge it has any tips
i liked your review and have had one of these for 3 years and love it. im an illustrator and photographer and gamer and it is in used night and day except for 6 hours sleep (mine) time. i plug it in only to charge for a short time 30 to 90 minutes keeps the M913 at top (10) charge for 24 hours. i chose it for its looks ( the rgb keyboard lights up ) and works great. i think your points are valid and informative. btw customer service is very good!
Is the MMO market less ludicrous than the FPS MOBA? Logitech discontinued the G600 and there is no close competitor to it. Not the Razer but the Redragon comes close. What do I mean? Well note that the G600 not only has the 12 side buttons, but the mouse middle button has three functions, middle button and left and right flicks. In addition, the G600 boasts 24 side buttons because the right G-Shift button enables a secondary function to each key. So the G600 effectively has 31 buttons mappable. No other mouse to date has that capability sadly...
I can profile swap on the scimitar - if I remap or macro different buttons (like for Adobe) I can effectively increase the amount of mappable paths... food for thought. Also the g600 is ugly 🖖
@@EightSixMatt Razer is unreliable in build quality so for a proper MMO mouse, I think of G600 (discontinued), the Corsair and Redragon. The problem I have with the Scimitar is it does not have the middle mouse's three functions. And having multiple mappable profiles per side button isn't exactly that useful in the middle of a hot gaming session (driver suite issues aside). The Roccat Kone AIMO also has multiple mappable functions for each key but they have few side buttons which means they rely on a typical MOBA mouse design just with multiple paths. It is innovative but for MMO players used to side buttons, I don't think it is very efficient in a gaming session.
I had the scimitar I just didn't like it. The side buttons were wobbly and felt too squishy. They are also not that well defined so I was accidentally clicking on the wrong buttons. I also have nails that doesn't really help either!
I have a question about a video u upload while ago, the Asiahorse Fans the have 5 pins right, and when u connect the hub, where do you conect it? to your power supply? or to your motherboard? the Fs-9002
So, some of these hubs have different options, but to power the hubs they always connect to your PSU - either via MOLEX, or in this case SATA. This provides direct power to the hub to power the fans. Most hubs feature a cable that connects to the motherboard to relay temperatures to tell the hub to then tell the fans how to adjust (sometimes). They also often feature 3 pin, or VDG (Gigabyte) adapters depending on your motherboard to offer some additional in-app UI light control based on what mobo RGB you are using. To clarify why some of it is a "maybe this, Maybe that" and "Sometimes" is because manufacturers make changes quarterly. What I reviewed often ends up being a little different after time goes by because they (manufacturers) make improvements to their products that change the answers (sometimes :D ).
Eight-Six ooh okay, now i'm clear, i can't be more happy than i'm right now, i have a MSI Z390 motherboard. Iwas trying to buy some rgb fans to put into my case, for the cheapest price, and i get interested in the Asiahorse fs-9001, with that beig said, lemme go buy them ❤️ and thanks a lot for the info, keep it up and u will always have my support
@@EightSixMatt thanks but I was just an idiot, I had the switch on eco😅 I testet it now in Rainbow 6 Siege and some League of Legends. This mouse is excellent for that price! Thanks also for the video, helped a ton with the driver program
It's macroable - but similar to the 10-key. You can assign functions to each of those - or assign 10-key function and utilize them as if it were a 10-key with applicable execution modes.
It may be a bit bulky and “plasticy” for your taste. One of my all time favorite mmo mice is my Scimitar Pro. I’ve had it for years, can’t part with it, hard to find something I feel like is ‘as nice’ quality feel wise.
Great video. I was wondering, i already have the wired version of the impact, and on that one i can only set a macro for 250 repetitions. On my razer mouse i can set a macro for infinite loops. Does the software for this one allow to set an infinite loop or is limited to 250 as well?

@@swervature Ya got me :)
That makes sense....their documentation says 40 hours....what are you getting with and without eco mode?
I used this mouse for three active days for 6+ hours, on 500 Hz and off the backlight, it spent around 10% of charge

I'd recommend giving Scimitar Pro a shot. I really do enjoy that one.

How can I tell if the mouse is charging
how about a mousepad that charges the mouse?????
This one isn’t Qi, idk if they make a Qi one now though. I use the light speed and the g703 and I like that setup 👌
con we change the colours of it ?
it's a pity that they don't allow you to use your own Li-on/Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. That's be SO good for longer times
