East Lancashire Railway with 5029 "Nunney Castle" and 4472 "Flying Scotsman" in February 1993

We see ex-Great Western Castle Class 4-6-0 No. 5029 "Nunney Castle" run round its train at Bury Bolton Street station on the East Lancashire railway in February 1993. We then join the train for the journey to Rawtenstall and back. At Ramsbottom we pass ex-LNER Class A3 No. 4472 "Flying Sctosman on a southbound service. After a spirited run up the bank from a standing start at Irwell Vale Nunney Castle arrives at Rawtenstall. On the return journey we see 4472 again at Ramsbottom. "Nunney Castle" then returns us to Bury Bolton Street station where the journey ends.
