idk how a hand could have so much personality, but I love it! that slomo card backflip at 3:43 was hilarious!

@@Play-In-Games All his movements were great! The impatient banging of a man who's going to win at 7:30 or the way he shook his fist out of frustration at 9:10!

Whoa!! This was one of my favorite games as a kid. I played with my older sister a lot when we were younger but I had totally forgotten how to play it. I'm really excited to teach my 17 year old and start playing again. I already got him away from video games, now we'll have something better to do. Thanks Brother!

I’m so glad to hear this. Likewise with my older sister. I had hoped to get theses videos out for the summer, which is the best time for Spit, but the summer got away from me. The next best time to play Spit is now, so enjoy! Thanks for the great comment and watching!

Watching was therapeutic!! Gen X here and i loved playing this game. Im hoping to teach my students at work. I'm excited!! For the final round we used to put one card facing down in the empty spot. Whoever snatched it would win (if it was the final round)

This looks like it could get chaotic, I love it.

This was a very well explained video. I used to play this in camp back in the day. I just don’t remember why your opponent was able to slap the empty spot when you finished even though he still had cards. That doesn’t make sense to me. How can he slap with still having 3 cards left?

That’s interesting, in your play only the first person out of cards can slap? The way we played; as soon as one player finishes it’s a race to slap the smaller pile. The person out has an advantage because they’re in control of the last placement. Much like most slapping/reaction games. I imagine games wouldn’t last very long if only the first person out could slap, but I’m sure Spit has lots of variation such as that. Thanks for sharing yours!

Your explanation was so simple that I was able to play it just after watching the video.but I have a question, what will happen is some one runs out of spit pile in their hand?

I mean that what will happen if there are 2 split columns and no other player can place the cards on top of it then players say split and reveal the top card from their split pile but if the player runs out of the pile then what will happen.
