I tend to concur I saw Hoglan play live in person with Strapping Young Lad, Testament (twice) with Steve DiGorgio on Bass. That had to have been the best rhythm section in Heavy Metal (all subgenres included). His ability as a drummer is unlike anything I've ever heard or seen.
The rhythm section from strapping young lad and front line of fear factory, arguably their best live sound. I wish they did more with this line up. An unusually longer set too, it's no wonder burt damaged his voice so much, unsustainable to sing like this on long tours. It was touching and fitting to have burt sing something from the watchers at the end, something he loved dearly, without all the ff turmoil. Thank you for releasing this, probably the best live recording of them, I saw ff first time in 99, they were my favourite band, \m/-
crazy to think that, years after this tour, Cazares said in an interview that Byron couldn't keep up with the new songs and had to record bass parts himself
Mechanize is a phenomenal Fear Factory album. Gene Hoglan is the man when it comes to Extreme Heavy Metal drumming. The last time I saw FF was the Demanufacture Anniversary Tour in 2016 at the Fonda Theatre. They brought the house down. Soilwork killed it as well! Appreciate the upload.

the key to this lineup is byron. what happened to it was nothing of a burton thing, it was dino not accepting someone who was a lot like dino himself. i got kicked out of dinos ff facebook group after explaining dinos and burts astrology charts. dino and gene however are both virgo. this was the coolest lineup since obsolete, or the best they ever had.

Thank you SO much for this recording. The audio mix is spot on and the video, while a bit oldschool at times in the transitions, is great! Saw them on this tour 3 days before this date, it brings back so many memories. For me, the best line-up FF has ever had (Mechanize is their 2nd best album after Demanufacture and Genexus is their 3rd, fight me). Hoglan is tighter than a metronome and make the whole sound so organic and precise. For the rest, great setlist, sloppy Burton cleans and laughable backing vocals from Dino as always. Business as usual but God, how I miss this band. Thanks again!
They werent that bad....Lol. Ive heard worse from them. Id say the best Burton vocal era was in 2004. If he had those vocals with this lineup....man. All and all great show in my book.

I love Burton but the band is so much better without him. Milo has rejuvenated FF. I wish Gene would come back but Pete is good too.
He used to be good.... Dino, that is. Like he's just "okay" on the ending harmonies on "Zero Signal". He ruined "linchpin" for sure. This is good Burt, his clean vocals get a B grade from me.... like it matters, my opinion, 😂, but i am a musician. His unclean vocals will always kill it.
