Happy hols Peg. Feliz Navidad as they say. I've attempted to read some of the classics over the years. Some more successfully than others. One more recent one I remember is 'To kill a mockingbird'. I quite enjoyed it, so I'll give this one an honest try. 'How to sell a haunted house' was interesting. At the commencement I didn't like Mike, and felt for Louise, but as the story unfolded, my opinion changed. i didn't see the revelation of the identity of the ghost coming, but understood why it had happened. C ya next week Peg.👍👍👍👌👌👌😁😁😁

I probably will not have time to read it but revenge is obviously best served cold in this case. Classic books are hard because one man's classuc isn't someone else's. I love the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy because it is so well written. Terry Pratchett's Discworld too. Still more a myth and magic girl at heart. You remember the Dark is rising books by Susan Cooper? A Classic as far as I am concerned, just ignore the americanised rubbish film they foolishly turned it in to.
I will have to think if there are any publicly acknowledged classics I can recommend. Maybe check out the folio books to see if there's any there I know😄

So glad you mentioned the Susan Cooper series...I wish more people gave it a try..sadly it is usually found in the children's section but adults will enjoy it very much.
