I completely concur with your sentiments Peg. Even though I haven't seen my children in a long time, I still worry about them and love them unconditionally. Any decent parent does, but there is worrying about them, and going over the top. What Mr. Cave is doing to his daughter sounds very much like coercive control, and that is all kinds of wrong on so many levels!! I think what Mr. Cave is trying to do is excuse his appalling actions. Anyhoo. I did read 'The midnight library', and really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed 'The ballad of songbirds and snakes'. It's sad about all that happened between Corelianus? and Lucy grey. Some people just can't be happy with what they have, although I'm very glad the hunger games are purely fictional. Looking forward to next weeks narrative. 👌👌👌👍👍👍😁😁😁
i think i would have a lot of problems reading this book by the description. But from what you have said It sounds like he has confused love and possession. I have another book by this author somewhere that i actually bought already so i think this review definitely bumps that one up my ever growing list of books to read😊
