In America, do you throw everything in the trash? 🤔 Here in Germany, we have to sort the trash into paper, plastic, residual waste, etc., otherwise the garbage won't be taken away by the garbage collectors. Crazy 🧐
Very disappointed to see yet again, that the US does not recycle there waste. In Germany, it is MANDATORY to recycle, and there rate of recycled paper and steel is 90%. In the US, 5%?

Depends on the state but we don’t sort like we used to with glass and other items from what I know

Trash doesn’t get sorted here just gets tossed and straight to the landfill from there

You missed the point of the video, this is recycling but it’s all collected together then separated at the recycling center. It’s called commingled
Although people should be recycling better it does get hand sorted when dumped
