I remember this intro of Jersey Devil. I used to play that game (PAL version) on Sony PS1 when I was a kid. It's probably one of the most underrated PS1 games of all time.
I remember back when I was about 8 my aunt got this for me as a gift and for something for me to play along with Tomba. I never beat Jersey Devil but I did have the inconvenience of finding the hidden final stage when I first started.
I had this game when i was just a little boy. I never beat because...you know i was little, didn;t know much, but now i can, but alas i have neither the game or playstation. Thanks for showing this! :)
OMG I still remember when I play this!!! So many memories... This is one of my favorite games... I would be happy if the companyes made games with creativity and original arguments as this.
This game was the biggest sleeper hit of all time. I loved every minute of it, and I finished it too. Still own it and will never give it up!!!! I just could never figure out how to save the last hostage in Knarf's forrest
Ian Knau Too bad it never really got anywhere. ...You know, I bet that the rights to it might be up for grabs, so someone could make it into a web series. Doubtful, but it's kinda nice to think about.
i remember this from a long long time ago i never bought the game but i rented it....once every time i had gone into chartbusters to rent i game i rented something else but it always caught my eye i said i would try it next time over and over again when i did finally rent it i enjoyed it but it was kind of hard. i had forgotten the name of the game and it had remained a long forgotten childhood memoary untill today thank you uploader
What a classic! Remember never getting passed the first level lol! I think i got to the bit in the house, coming inside from the graveyard area, and having to jump aross platforms without falling off.
i remember playing a game like this, but it was on a arcade game, along with some others I fail to remember. But I definantly remember the Jersey Devil, it was epic fun for me despite the limits I had.
I wonder why very few people have played this... To me, it's a colorful, yet oddball game with a satirical Batman-esque character trying to stop a mad scientist from having his world come to fruition. I love it and have loved it since we got it; a jewel in a gamer's collection.
Man, as a kid... No other sound compared to that unique 'glup' sound when you got a pumpkin in this game. Im afraid i still listen to the ost from time to time...
This was the first game on the PSX that I ever saw an intro done in classic animation. It's really cool and it helps show the world the creators were trying to create with the PSX's limited capabilities. It only sucked that it made you wish the game looked like the opening.. sigh.
thanks for uploading this. I had two copies of this game as a kid(I still have at least 1) and the intro video froze on both copies but I could play the game just fine if I skipped the intro. Did anyone else have this problem?
Heh, I still have this game. I bought it off a cross-eyed friend in middle school. Jersey Devil's theme is epic, but it's a shame this game is relatively short.
This game was so fricking fun!!!! I was addicted to this game back when I was like, what, 6? Yup, awesome, along with this game I was also playing Tomba, Blasto,(I think that was the name) Dino Crisis and Tomb Raider, haha.
I remember the commircial of this game lol, there were two cops on a dinning resturant .One of them put the salt on the plate and it spild all over the food then the other cop put ketchup on his, it also spild but when they both looked on their left, jersey devil was makin belived his reading the newspaper but till the cops got up their seats their shoe lace were tied togerther and they both fall and jersey devil laughed. ^____^ Good times good times
These sounds are so nostalgic and familiar. it chews on my heart. R.I.P. Childhood.
I remember this intro of Jersey Devil. I used to play that game (PAL version) on Sony PS1 when I was a kid. It's probably one of the most underrated PS1 games of all time.

Hot damn, I remember this. Jersey Devil was the most rented game I played aside from Tomba 2
This would have made a kickass TV series I think. Sorta like a toned down Batman similar to Darkwing Duck or something I'd imagine.
Ian Knau Too bad it never really got anywhere.
...You know, I bet that the rights to it might be up for grabs, so someone could make it into a web series. Doubtful, but it's kinda nice to think about.
