Man you are very underrated I mean I can’t do any of these but very calming to watch Also a request Even tho you draw really realistic things maybe try making a video on minimalist drawings? It’s a humble request
I am a new artist. I love your style. Now my new favorite artists. Your voice is easy to listen to. I am going to consume about 5+ more hours of your videos today. You will see me commenting. Cause I always Like, and comment on artist videos
I really love your drawings , I looked up art books you mentioned and to my observations I think you mostly used Andrew Loomis's proportions and skull details from JH? I like youu thank you for your tutorials btw 🥹
Draw to understand the planes of your subject so that you memorize a volumetric model in your head from which to build from and draw. A little perspective for turning objects such as a skill will help. Landmarks don’t change in space the way something occupy s space doesn’t change either like how an eye will be the same length from a nose just as the other as if it were profile view but cause the nose has a length of it’s own and comes forward one eye might end up behind in a 3 quarter turned view. This should be very natural btw not always guessing. Draw a 2’ wide wall draw a shorter one 1’ wide wall intersecting and you will see how it cuts in front with it’s own space. But yes maybe one day you will be like hey that’ a nice looking set of skulls I drew....from imagination!
Loving these Study Session videos, they are inspiring me to draw more.
