@@bossdog1480 Yes, it was made by the same team, but whereas this series was more accurate and veterans friendly, Sea Patrol was aimed at the general audience. It had some glaring, awful errors in it, but I like it as lightweight entertainment. It had a lot of good actors in it, I'm a push over for anything Lisa McCune stars in. Martin Sacks, her beau from Blue Heelers, shows up in one episode. It also had a production budget much higher than Patrol Boat. That being said, I agree with you, Patrol Boat is light years better. Why the hell aren't all the episodes of Patrol Boat available? Meanwhile, thanks again to Mark Alan for these, I'd gladly shout him some beers for sharing.

I remember drinking games in the mess at HMAS Stirling with US Submariners in '85. Empty had to go upside down on your head. 😁😁 This is the Navy I remember. Glad I got out in the eighties. 'Walsh' was a good addition to the cast.
The drinking games in this episode are pretty mild, I mean, they could of been playing 'Aircraft carriers'. My Dad was in the Artillery from 1957 to 1960s and the insane drinking games they got up to left us kids speachless when he recounted them in the early 1970s, and my mum nearly having a fit.
