Love the discussions, very informative…👏
So great to get to know you and all the good thngs you and your families are doing to help the antique community in the center of the antique world! I learned more about Jocelyn too, we all seem to be lifers in this
Excellent content, guys. That was the most useful teaching moment I’ve ever seen on the topic of reselling and collecting. Looking forward to more. Bravo!
I loved this! (And the live chat session as well, the other night).
❤ Second time I watched the whole thing. I loved this one. All 3 of you learning from each other.
Loved this fun to hear three resellers share their enthusiasm for what they do and get a few tips along the way. Thanks for doing this 😊 video.
This was such a fun and informative video! Thank you!!!
So happy that the Lamp Lady sent me. HUGE respect from Wyandotte Michigan.
I LOVE thrifting/antiquing and be able to give treasures to friends and family.
I really enjoyed this conversation! Thanks for doing it.
The key to these three's success is their authenticity and true passion for their craft. They relentlessly create and are pioneers in buying, selling, + marketing. Some may copy but these 3 are miles ahead of of the pack.
Wow, that is tall praise and a lot to live up to, but thanks!
So you're saying collecting old things keeps us young? Sign me up. Great video, thank you!
What an amazing conversation with all of you. I learn so much from all of you. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
Amazing it is always fantastic to listen to people who are passionate about what they do 💜
Oh my gosh...this was fun to watch. I am new to your channel, thanks to Jocelyn whom I follow since her first video of reselling. Schönen Gruss auch an deine Frau!! I am German as well living close to Montreal Canada. Looking forward to more of your interesting shows. Cheers!!! 💚💚💚
Way cool!!! Glad this popped up!❤
yeah that's so funny watching the two weirdos, I really like you're huge Mall you have their we'll have to come visit Soon🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
Fantastic Video! Held my interest for sure.
I love George! He is the absolute sweetest and he is literally like an encyclopedia of knowledge.
There isn't much that George does not kno about vinrage & antique items. His love of all of those things shows in his knowledge of them & his willingness to teach others along the way.
@@Sass-Glass Well thanks! I realize all the time how much I still have to learn though
Loved this video! Great hearing all the stories and I agree, please have more. Would love to hear all you talk about specific collections, etc. Hope everyone has a great weekend! Thank you to all our Vets! :)
You all are awesome. I am a hobby seller but stated in 1998 in as a vendor and in 2000 started selling on eBay. I learn something new every day.
Pat was awesome❤
What a fun interview! one of the best videos yet!!
George is the most knowledgeable antique dealer I've ever seen. He knows more than Google.
Oh, I don't always get it right, but thank you! I try to share what I can
What a great interview with the two people I watch daily. I subscribed to your channel also. Welcome to my world!! Susie
Pat was incredible. Her collections were incredible. A walk through the past
This was so fun! I love George and Jocelyn and now the Berner brothers. Jocelyn was the first reseller I stumbled across, and through her I found so many others. I now consider many my “friends”. 👍👍👍
Same! She's also why I now have a flea market booth of my own and a little bit of stuff listed on eBay. My husband blames her for never being able to have his desk all to himself these days because I sit stuff on his desk 🤣
Same! I started with Jocelyn...found George, Kate, The Thrifting Twins, Laura Caldwell. I'm so glad to have this interview as I've always wanted to know their backstories...such knowledge!
Same! I found Jocelyn on Facebook a few years ago (thanks to being stuck at home during lockdown) my daughter and I loved thrifting and since we weren’t able to it was fun watching all her videos and “shopping” along with her…she’s the one I have to thank for introducing me to Flying Pig Thrifts, Follow That Bug, George The Antique Nomad, and now The Berner Brothers!
I really think Jocelyn’s love for art glass has influenced the resurge in sales for it! She’s popular! Lol
They are great, knowledgeable and gracious.
@@rachelpatterson4170 Lol yes the side effects! I hope you have fun and do well at it
Love you all!
The way she displayed everything was amazing & dust free
You all are so knowledgeable, well spoken and fun to watch. Blessings to you and yours!
Pat's house is a story of a long life well lived. I dream of having a home like that some day, loved watching that tour!
This was great! Would love more of these sit down conversations.
Pat's house should be turned into museum. Her house is a work of art.
Really enjoyed this. I am subscribed to all 3 channels and have learned so much. I’m 73, collected since I was in my teens but still learn every day. Thanks!
Me too, that's why I love doing this!
Hi Berner Bros! I am a huge fan of George and a new watcher of Jocelyn and a new subscriber for you now! This was a really great video. You actually are a natural as an interviewer and speaker. It was nice to learn a little more about George and Jocelyn's beginnings because its not something they talk about in detail in their own videos. I will be back for sure! ❤❤❤
Oh and thank you so very much for letting us in the warehouse with our favorite TH-cam Pickers !
He really is! I'm glad he was able to draw us out that way
George and Joslyn have taught me so much. I had an antique store back in the early 1990's and I learn everyday by watching youtube videos.
Excellent interviews!!!! I look forward to more and more! I am subscribed to all three.... and love you all!
Thank you! We'll have fun
It just amazes me the items people are buying and selling! I got married in the early 70’s and we got a lot of Pyrex, ashtrays Tupperware and so much that is in demand in today’s market. I saw a video and they had the Rubbermaid tableware trays we bought for under five dollars to put in our drawers to separate all the silverware in an antique mall in different colors selling for at least 3 times we paid for them. But that could be said for a lot of things. I bought my first car in 1972 for around $2500 and we all know where that market has gone. And the decor we had in our parent’s house is seen in so many homes now. It’s wonderful to see the young people so knowledgeable and we know they’ve learned so many things from people from my generation and older! Great interview with three of my favorite!
It is amazing how things from the 1970s are especially hot in the market now, but that's because we're old enough to have lived it the first time!
@@TheAntiqueNomad so true!
You should do this again! Loved it ❤
What a fantastic interview duo!! Thanks!!
Jocelyn got me hooked! I started thrifting with the intent to sell on ebay, but when I realized how expensive it was to ship, I boxed up my merchandise. We moved the next year, and I decided to rent a booth to sell my items and it has taken off from there. unfortunately, I normally only break even, but I have made a great profit on a few items! I've learned a lot from watching these videos! :)
During the pandemic I saw a video of jocelyns. I thought "I could do that!"
Got everything started, bought & bought then started talking to friends who had sold on "the bay" & how they were treated there & panicked & boxed everything up. Have slowly started back up by doing antique store parking lot sales, trying to get a booth in several stores but everyone has a list a mile long of people wanting booth space. (And had several serious health issues pop up during all this & trying to handle all the dr visits & down time too wasn't conducive to re selling). But am back at it, with a new purpose & absolutely love doing this. Guess I owe Jocelyn a great big thank you for doing her videos for us all to watch & learn from. Also, just love kate to bits! And then george...thank you George for everything from me way up here! Love & hugs to all. Be safe in your travels!
Another one of my favorites is "thrifting Vegas". I've learned a lot from Tiffany too, and she even mentioned me in one of her videos! I told her I've been collecting pears for 40+ years, and she found one for me on one of her thrifting videos! @@Sass-Glass
@@francescawest1165 She was really nice to meet in person too
Thanks so much! Funny, encouraging, and wonderful to hear about how the 3 of you got started in collecting and selling! Great discussion you guys!!
I stumbled across Jocelyn 's TH-cam videos when I went through a recent illness and, of course through her I found George, etc. I found a other channels, too, that became my favorites. I have since recovered and I still love watching them all. Thank you for sharing what you do and God bless.
Glad you're well and that you discovered fun with us!
Pat was delightful.I started watching you tube while restricted in a brace after a bad car accident. You guys taught me so much and I've been out of the brace for over two years. Much love and success to you all.
Well done video. We've been to the Heart of Ohio a few times and never have the time to see it all. Glad to see it run by people who care and love the business. We discovered Jocelyn a couple years ago and don't miss her posts. We will occasionally get worried about her health because she seems to always be traveling to buy, being a mom, selling, running a shop, doing live auctions and now starting her own marketplace online. Makes me tired just thinking about it!
You definitely struck gold when you introduced yourself to Jocelyn and now George. They will both help you grow your channel because of their following 😊.
I am a hobbyist collector...Pat's house let me know it is okay for me to keep buying...I collect amethyst glass and I collect miniature shoes...I have a number of clowns, but I would not say the clowns are my total passion...purple has been my favorite color since I was shown the 8 crayola colors as a baby...I eat off purple dishes and drink out of purple glasses...I wore purple to prom and my entire wedding was purple...the caterers stated they never saw so much purple...and as a surprise to me...they ordered purple dinner jackets...when they came out to serve at the reception I just started crying with joy...they ordered those jackets just to wear for my reception...I'm here because of the Crazy Lamp Lady, but it is Jeffery of Real Nifty Vintage that has me watching resellers on youtube.I love when a reseller buys an item I own....I then know I am buying right items. I like Pat have informed my only child that all that I am buying is for her to sale...if she wants any money...lol lol lol
I
Jacob this video was such fun! I've been watching Jocelyn & George since their channels began. I was so excited to meet them at our Extravaganza! I luv shopping at The Heart! TFS and please do this again when they return for the May Extrav. God Bless the Berner family. 💙
Hi Chris! Great to see your comment and I'm glad you are finding these folks who have a lot more to show us
Wow, what a treat, thanks!
Three great people! Glad to call Jocelyn and George friends….they are both so gracious when you meet them. Heart of Ohio has amazing things and is owned and run by really good people. Thoroughly enjoyed the conversation!
Hi Sandy. The world just got smaller, lol.
@@twistoffate4791 ❤️
Hi, Sandy! I'm glad we got to connect, I'm sure we will again.
Cellar holes are where old houses have been burned down or fell apart. Stuff from the houses would often be in the "cellar hole." Farmers threw old stuff into the holes, especially when they found things in their fields. People used to toss bottles out of their cars in the 1950s and they would land in the farmer's fields. My dad cleaned out the cellar hole off my grandparents' property. He did metal detecting, too. He also kept a few old hub caps. Anyone interested in those?
I have a bunch of hubcaps to sell myself
Welcome to the Club ✨💜✨
Fantastic interview! This was so fun to watch! ❤️
Wow!!! PAT'S Treasures!!! Her house should be a Museum... her Legacy...
I cannot wait to move back to Ohio. We'll be 40 minutes from The Heart. I'm going to be there so much, you'd think I had a cot hidden somewhere.
Lol I would too if I was closer
What an incredible conversation between 3 of the most influential people in this new born phenomenon!
Great job, Jacob! You asked all the right questions. I learned a lot about Jocelyn and George.
💞💓💞
Wow! Antique Nomad and the Crazy Lamp Lady at the same time. I learned about you from Jocelyn’s channel and now I watch you, Jocelyn and George. I have learned so much from all of you. Keep up the good work.
Well, Bernerbrotherantiques, that was a lot of fun! You are definitely in the best company, with the most knowledgeable and gracious two that you could possibly meet in the industry, at least what I’ve seen. I firmly believe that if either could help you further your channel or your mall they would be there to help in anyway they could. I wish I could muster the nerve to start a TH-cam channel. I love vintage and antiques ever since I was young and now retired have made it a hobby, as a dealer with a booth. I can agree that marketing and technology and getting on social media is a must if you plan to make it a career. Good luck to you, I’m sure with your background and knowledge, you too will become a social media, TH-cam success. You’re very good at interviewing and your charisma shines through! ❤️
George is the most underrated TH-camr there is. He is a wealth of knowledge and should have 300k subscribers!
He’s also the nicest guy
You are too kind!
I found Heart of Ohio through Jocelyn! And George is awesome!
This was great!! I learned so much about George & Jocelyn. Thank you for showcasing them & asking the right questions. I am excited for your channel to continue to grow & am also excited to follow along. Thank you!!
He is a natural interviewer! I learned a lot about him in the process too, it was really enriching
@@TheAntiqueNomad I can see that. He did ask a lot of questions & I could tell that he was very genuine in wanting to know the answers. I am loving this new found friendship between all of you.
That was a great one
Great interview 😊
Fabulous! Thank you
This was the best time! I felt like I was right there with the 3 of you! Great video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💛💛💛
I’m so glad someone told you who Jocelyn was when she stopped by! I am in love with George’s passion, knowledge & traveling. Now I am also in love with The Berner family!! Of course it’s been awesome to watch Jocelyn & her family blossom and grow too!! I watch all of your videos regularly & have even been a customer multiple times!! Thank you all so much & thank you Jocelyn for this legacy you’ve started in You Tubing!! Lol!!❤
Wonderful, interesting and fun interview!! George is one of the most knowledgeable, kindest people in the business. Jocelyn is a sweetheart! I’m truly enjoying your channel.

Love this. So glad you met the CLL and George. I have loved your videos and am happy you are on TH-cam
Brilliant video. Fascinating to hear about how they began and what keeps them searching and buying & selling.
This video is so Great. It is so neat to see MY 3 Favorite TH-camrs on one video!!! I was inspired by Crazy Lamp Lady to start my TH-cam channel and I have recently started following The Antique Nomad and The Berner Bros/Heart of Ohio channels. Been selling on Ebay for 7 years and your videos help keep me motivated and educated on so many neat things. THANKS so MUCH and keep up the good work!!!
That's great! I'm gald we're all getting to grow this antique community. This has been reinvigorating to my interest in the busness too!
If you want to get started with antiques and vintage things I would start by buying things from your memories. The cookie jar that grandma had on her counter growing up. Mixing bowls, furniture, You won't regret what you buy as you learn, if it's connected to a memory.
That's the gateway, what grandma had!
What a great video!! I hope you do more with George and Jocelyn!! These two are so knowledgeable and it’s just great to listen and learn!
Super stars! ⭐️ ⭐️
Loved this interview/interaction you are all just wonderful to watch and learn , thanks to Jocelyn I have subscribed to George and now to Berner Brothers also.❤❤

We blocked the scammer from our channel! Sorry about that!
