My husband and I fell in love to your music starting in 2012. We have gone to every concert in Nashville and Atlanta. In February of 2022 we got married and shared our first dance to Aquaman. I will never forget, buying the tickets immedietely on sale, to go see you with my then partner. We had originally bonded over Walk the Moon back in highschool and it was the most serene moment I have experienced getting to dance with them to Aquaman next to the barricade and hold someone I cared about so much to music that had affected me so much. I've spent a lot of summer drives blasting self-titled, talking is hard, and What if nothing. Even going so far back as to play the songs Nick wrote The other side: b-sides and rarities. This is obviously sad news, but I know we will meet again. Being a fan of this band for the last 11 years has been such a special time. I’ve seen you 37 times since then, and they have all been spiritual and magical experiences. I’ve met amazing people because of this band…wonderful, beautiful people including my friends Shelly, Mark, Alexis, Savannah, and so many more. Every one of your albums was released at a pivotal moment in my life. TIH came out the week I started my first real adult big boy job. WIN came out as I entered another big chapter of my life. And Heights came out as my career transitioned to her another new phase. These songs and shows have meant the absolute world to me and I will never forget. Every time you stepped on that stage, everything changed for us. Every time Eli recognized us in the crowd and a huge smile came over his face. I'm really glad I got to know you even though I never got to go to one of your concerts. I remember when I was smaller my brother discovered a song on the radio and made me listen to it and I just loved it and a few years later when I was watching School of Rock on TV I heard this music again in this series and I found the music on the internet, it was Shut up and Dance. Your act was so good that I ordered a Talking is Hard album from the middle of the pit that I was squeezed into. From that point on I've had nothing but love for you guys. Some of my FAVORITE concert experiences have been yours!! This hurts my heart so much but I completely understand your decision. I was at the Columbus show the day the supreme court decision of Obergefell v Hodges came out. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE ENERGY that concert had. Different Colors 🌈! My other favorite concert was in London in a small venue in Soho with Hippocampus opening. So intimate and unique. I got to meet Sean outside afterwards! Kindest person ❤. Hey man, I’ll never forget the first time I heard SUandD. I was sitting in the lobby of my apartment complex at the time (summer 2015) and while I was studying it came on. I remember pausing and thinking, wow, this is awesome! Played it over another 10 times, told my wife about it, told my co-workers about it, played the chord progression over and over on piano… That music video and song will now always bring me back to that happy point. I couldn't have asked for a better band to come into my life for when it did. I was in middle school when shut up and dance came out and listening to their other songs gave me such good messages to live by. It made me into a better person by giving me advice to grow up throughout middle school, high school, and now into my last few years of college. I don't think I'd be the same person without them. I'm sad that I wasn't able to ever see them live, but I'm glad that I got to listen to their songs.

When this first came out, I went through a bit of a mourning period and then get filled with appreciation for you all. The Spotify's 2023 wrapped came out and they played the message for top fans and my eyes immediately teared up. I never got to go to a live show but hoping sometime in the future I'll be able to. The first time I saw Walk the Moon, I was blown away - it was easily one of the best shows I've ever seen, right up there with to Bruce Springsteen. I saw you guys many times. The funniest time was in Oakland (Not so Silent Night). I flew to LA the next day to watch another festival style show and there in the Marriot checking in to the hotel -- Walk the Moon WEARNING THE SAME OUTFITS they wore on stage at Oakland. You guys looked tired. I did not think you wanted a 50 year old guy walk over and say "Gosh, guys I love you stuff." BTW: I was at Spiral (top restaurant in in Manila). The string quartet played, "Shut up and Dance" (yes, for strings). During break, I asked if they knew 'Anna Sun." They did not!!!!!
I came across your music about 7 years ago and since then you have been a constant in my life and have helped me get through some dark times. I hope the break (and individual projects) give your creative sides challenges and growth that you wouldn't have had within Walk the Moon. Hopefully one day when you all feel the time is right, hibernation will be over and I for one, will be here waiting to see how that growth will have enriched Walk the Moon. This is obviously sad news, but I know we will meet again. Being a fan of this band for the last 11 years has been such a special time. I’ve seen you 37 times since then, and they have all been spiritual and magical experiences. I’ve met amazing people because of this band…wonderful, beautiful people including my friends Shelly, Mark, Alexis, Savannah, and so many more. Every one of your albums was released at a pivotal moment in my life. TIH came out the week I started my first real adult big boy job. WIN came out as I entered another big chapter of my life. And Heights came out as my career transitioned to her another new phase. These songs and shows have meant the absolute world to me and I will never forget.
Every time you stepped on that stage, everything changed for us. Every time Eli recognized us in the crowd and a huge smile came over his face. Every time we screamed “We got no money but we got heart” together.

I went to your TH-cam channel to see if there was any new music then I see this video.... It's so sad 😔 but all of us fans respect your choice. I'm really glad I got to know you even though I never got to go to one of your concerts. I remember when I was smaller my brother discovered a song on the radio and made me listen to it and I just loved it and a few years later when I was watching School of Rock on TV I heard this music again in this series and I found the music on the internet, it was Shut up and Dance. Since then Walk the Moon has become my favourite band and both my brother and my mother listen to your music.

Thank you for EVERYTHING WTM!!!!! I remember first hearing you at NBT 2015 in Tampa. You opened with the Lion King intro and I was immediately hooked. Your act was so good that I ordered a Talking is Hard album from the middle of the pit that I was squeezed into. From that point on I've had nothing but love for you guys. You've gotten me through some of the best and worst of times and I am forever grateful.

Some of my FAVORITE concert experiences have been yours!! This hurts my heart so much but I completely understand your decision. I was at the Columbus show the day the supreme court decision of Obergefell v Hodges came out. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE ENERGY that concert had. Different Colors 🌈! My other favorite concert was in London in a small venue in Soho with Hippocampus opening. So intimate and unique. I got to meet Sean outside afterwards! Kindest person ❤. I like the word hibernation. You will always have the spirit of WTM in you but sometimes that preconceived vision of what WTM is can hold you back from your individual ventures.

Hey man, I’ll never forget the first time I heard SUandD. I was sitting in the lobby of my apartment complex at the time (summer 2015) and while I was studying it came on. I remember pausing and thinking, wow, this is awesome! Played it over another 10 times, told my wife about it, told my co-workers about it, played the chord progression over and over on piano… That music video and song will now always bring me back to that happy point. And so will all the other WTM’s songs.

When this first came out, I went through a bit of a mourning period and then get filled with appreciation for you all. The first time I saw Walk the Moon, I was blown away - it was easily one of the best shows I've ever seen, right up there with to Bruce Springsteen. I knew I really liked your music, but the energy and authenticity and connection you bring onto a stage are incredible to me as a fan and inspiring as a musician. I'm glad I've been able to see you a few other times since, I'll keep enjoying your music, and if and when Walk the Moon does return to recording and touring, I'll be there. I saw you guys many times. The funniest time was in Oakland (Not so Silent Night). I flew to LA the next day to watch another festival style show and there in the Marriot checking in to the hotel -- Walk the Moon WEARNING THE SAME OUTFITS they wore on stage at Oakland. You guys looked tired. I did not think you wanted a 50 year old guy walk over and say "Gosh, guys I love you stuff." BTW: I was at Spiral (top restaurant in in Manila). The string quartet played, "Shut up and Dance" (yes, for strings). During break, I asked if they knew 'Anna Sun." They did not!!!!!
I came across your music about 7 years ago and since then you have been a constant in my life and have helped me get through some dark times. I hope the break (and individual projects) give your creative sides challenges and growth that you wouldn't have had within Walk the Moon. Hopefully one day when you all feel the time is right, hibernation will be over and I for one, will be here waiting to see how that growth will have enriched Walk the Moon.
