I wake up and the first thing I see in the morning is an EA Gunpla video? Off to an amazing start. Love the simple kitbashes and 'not too much' approach, especially with the simple color selection. So many times, we see people using three or four shades of the same color just so they can have panels be different shades, and kits end up looking like a cluttered mess. This was the opposite, a simple, clean build, it was great.
Donor parts from a second kit can often be used in fun ways, like cutting parts of the shins down to create the shell for a shoulder-mounted blaster or reshaping the shield in new ways, with maybe added cutting edges.
Love this. The shoulders give it a quanta vibe. The light gray blue is really nice with the mostly white colors. The single hit of red is just great. This one came out great!
This looks really nice. This is along the lines of what I expect if Bandai _finally_ decides to make an MG GN-001 Gundam Exia [Ver 2.0] along with its variants. I also got the _Roll Out_ color vibes with this color scheme.
Very nice, i wish i had half your talent, i've quited the hobby because of Leucemia and the finacial weight it has on wallet nowadays, but i'm still in love with gunpla specially MGs, never had a PG but if i have a chance PG Exia all the waay! One fight at a time i guess!

Could someone explain to me the reasoning behind panel lining prior to priming?
It's to make sure all the lines are clean, straight and deep enough so that when you do actually panel line, it'll go where you want it to.
