Yes it is. I was thinking back to jazz tutorial books or syllabi for teachers around 30 years ago…I remember jazz prances were mentioned…but I don’t think back when we were in classes as students we did jazz walks until maybe 2nd or 3rd year? Or master classes. Maybe just forgot laugh. The jazz walk is presented as a basic part of jazz tutorial but the Bob Fosse style of it seems like something better grasped by older students than beginners or at least young beginners. But these days there are so many talented young dancers who knows? :-) it also reminded me of the question how young is too young for a “jazz prance,” or “strut,” or no age limit maybe as it’s just a stylized walk but people still unfamiliar with dance today might wonder about a little kid doing “struts.” I’m not a prude (I’ve seen all kinds of things in competitions even years ago!! And even more today!) I’m just a dance teacher thinking cautiously laugh! And these days kids doing hip hop wow me with their energy and natural motion…one girl I taught tap and ballet is a complete natural hip hop dancer but that had nothing to do with me! But she’s great.
That is possibly the only full body leotard I'd actually wear to class.
is there different type of jazz walk?
yeah. this is very bob fosse.

Too echoeing to hear
Horrible video. So much echo it's impossible to understand anything you're saying.
It's probably really difficult to get rid of that in a dance studio. They're always really echoey
