I needed this video my whole life!!!!!! 😆. There has to be thousands of ppl out there that have zero rhythm and have no clue what to do when freestyle dancing, so you go all your life too embarrassed to get up and try. I’ve NEVER seen anyone come up with the idea of a video like this and boy, is it needed for all of us who are too scared we will make a fool of ourselves. Haha. With just a few of these steps taught here, and a little practice, anyone can now join in on the fun!! Sooooo many times thru the years we’ve been in different scenarios where we wanted to just get up and dance, join in the fun, but just have no clue how to move. This video is pretty awesome and I sure hope a whole lot more intimidated ppl will learn from this video and not remain in a chair all night or be a wallflower 😝 Thank you for making this video!!!!!

I’ve been attending concerts and music festivals my entire life. I don’t have the natural flow some do but I can be still when I hear music. The last “Dead” festival I attended at Red Rock in CO I could hardly walk the next day! At 70 I may have start tapping my toes and clapping from my wheelchair🤣. Giving up music festivals just not an option.

Definitely show the steps first, but for me, bringing in the music helps a lot because you can feel your body feeling the rhythm, regardless of the steps. Even just sitting uou can feel the flow of the music and relax and go with it. Trust your body ❤

My brother didn't have "the flow" at all when he first started going out. Moved very awkwardly. Didn't go out with him again for over a year and I couldn't believe how good he was. I've only met one guy in my life with zero sense of rhythm (not my device - I'm a woman), but he was Latin so he was raised knowing he had to dance. He got an A for effort but when we slow danced, I led - it was easier for both of us.

I do try a lot dancing on my own time when listening to music (not just pop), but I can't find a way to improve, I am very bad at dancing to any type of songs. How can I improve?

It sounds like you're having trouble counting/hearing the beats of the music. I would suggest watching this video to help learn how to hear the beats of a song: th-cam.com/video/IDNElGJMC4U/w-d-xo.html

This was good. I know partner dancing, do my entire point in the floor is to try to get ladies to dance with me. This would help calm me down. Maybe a little.
It at least it'll give me some variations to think about and entertain myself.

Your beginner's video was great. I have a request. My daughter is getting married in April 2025 (a year from now). So, we have time.
There's the father / bride dance. She's 5'2" and I'm 6'4". I'm not a dancer. She's younger & better. I'm 73. I feel doing the typical Fathet/Daughter slow waltzy thing will look bad & not be good. Can you offer some thoughts or steps we could do.
I'm not looking for a Fred & Ginger type routine, but maybe something that will make us look in step, and maybe make the audience watch and hopefully applaud.
    Thanks.
