I found yall because yall were one of the only creators to have any IDK content back in the day. I am very excited that ryan seems to like IDK in 4th ed!
Wow then you’ve been with us since my very first video with the channel, like 2.5 years ago! Means a lot that you stayed with us! And yes, I’m pretty psyched about Idoneth again!
I,ve been thinking of playing calvary mainly in my list, since I was doing so in 3rd ed.This vid gives me another perspective on what units to choose from.I was keen to include 2*3 ishlaen since I thought they're good to stop large blocks of oponents infantry but now I think that deleting them with morsaar is just better 😅.Also initialy I included two allopexes and I think that's a little waste of points now.And I think you're right to say that soul raid ambushers are way better to play with calv than akhelian beastmasters, after all it is a game of movement.
Hey man, thanks for the comment! Def worth saying that these are just my opinions…give the kind of list you want to play some serious spins and let me know what I might’ve missed! I think the sharks have some utility for sure, but they’re just not super efficient for what they cost, in comparison to what else is out there! But could be still a blast to play! Same goes for Ishlaen Guard!

@@Gzelfegor looks cool! Let me know how it goes! Only thing I’d worry about is having those two Ishlaen units in your General’s regiment, making them easy targets for the battle tactic. That said, if you keep them separate, they won’t fit in the Eidolon’s regiment, so I would consider combining them into one unit and putting them in one of the other unit regiments, depending on how worried you are they’ll get wiped. With the two sharks and the reavers, I think you’ve got enough small units for grabbing the flanks and acting independently, so I’m not sure the Ishlaen need to be split up. But obviously do your thing!
@@ryanburruss My plan with Ishlaen was to have better chance on stealing attacks from my oponents units, after all it's only 3+ but considering that battle tactic it might be better idea to not give away free points on easy targets.I supose I will play both and see witch one works best.

Best part of the best faction. Thanks for giving Idoneth the attention they deserve!
Just a comment to say I like these sorts of videos a lot. Looking forward to seeing the last one for IDK.
Thanks a lot! A comment means a lot to us. Appreciate you!
I’ve been enjoying these IDK vids
Thanks so much for checking them all out! Been fun making them for sure!
I'm testing out one shark in combo with the Sylvaneth RoR. That ought to keep big models from charging at all.
Love me some RoR action. The sylvaneth one didn't look amazing to me though. Have you had any success with it?
