Oh the bones and gelatin make a fantastic broth! We always pick (by hand) the little bits of meat off too after boiling away for a while. Great base for soup no matter what else you add for the final pot of food

Here in Montreal Canada, the French word for a super market is supermarche...it is prounounced exactly as you said it 🙂 So when i hear you say it, I just think you are being cosmopolitan 🙂 (Definition for Cosmopolitan = Someone who has a lot of contact with people and things from many different countries and as a result is very open to different ideas and ways of doing things).....so I think it is another one of your many positive traits 🙂

Did a spiritual massage before it's amazing. You should drink lots of water when you get the spiritual work done. Your probably releasing lots that's why your tired. That looks lovely the pasta sauce it would be lovely as well with risotto or rice. Love the classics. I recently bought The merchant of Venice I wanted to read that again.

It's not pretentious, we call Target 'Tar-jay' (all French like).; we don't go to Walmart- we Go WalMartin' (all hillbilly like), we go to Slaveway (not Safeway, because several family members have and still work there). We'd call Skippers fish and chips the 'Chum bucket'. Fred Meyers is 'Fat Freddie's Fall aparts' here in Oregon. Albertson's is Big Al's. As teens we had Arctic Circle (hamburger place); I miss going to the Septic Circle or the Arctic Sewer. The list goes on and on.. Keep having fun...

Supermarche, lidel and the aldi make me laugh.... I've been known to say comestibles and "the wireless"....if you're thinking ahead to winter I'd suggest a slow cooker and a soup maker. Best "kit" I've bought for frugal cookery...

Here in the US many of us will jokingly call our Target stores Tar-jay and giggle about prouncing it as if it's some sort of bougie boutique when it's basically a big box store only slightly better than Walmart which many people jokingly call WallyWorld. That viewer of your obviously lacks a sense of humor.
I have a hand stick blender that i bought over 20 years and its still going. You just have to make sure you have enough liquid in the pan!
If you finish Moby Dick well done. I didn't and don't know anyone who has. Found it tough going (and I've read "hard times" by Charles Dickens!!!!!!!) so will be interested to know how you get on with it.Anywho, both meals looked great.
