    Just an FYI....I am not affiliated with either Cricut or Silhouette, I bought all of my machines & crafting supplies. You might get different answers from people who are connected with the companies....Me I just call it like I see it from my own experiences making stuff!

      @@RosasUtopia So that SVG file has been combined or welded, so that when it comes into design space, it is seen as one design. If it wasn't welded together, DS tries to load each individual circle and it can take forever!! It will eventually load, despite any complaining or warning messages from DS, but it will take a while.

      I wish rhinestones were cheaper!! Perfect Press HTV has some that are the cheapest, that I have found, but they only come in the standard colors-They are also cheaper in the 50 gross size rather than the 25 gross. Becreateful is one place I buy more pretty Rhinestones & The Rhinestone World. Also I found one place on Amazon, just be really careful on Amazon that they are hotfix Rhinestones. amzn.to/3DatRwj - that's my affiliate link for amazon rhinestones.

    • @MissMaryEmbroidery
      @MissMaryEmbroidery  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cricut's Design Space isn't meant for designing....just bringing in designs & cutting, at the moment, it is an EXTREMELY limited program. I use the Rhinestone World's software but it's expensive. There are tutorials for using Inkscape or Silhouette Studio Business edition for creating Templates. I don't have any, creating templates is a bit tedious!!

      No decal video yet, the cup is still sitting on my desk for it! I love both places I mentioned in the video, I have spent lots of money at both! JSI has the standard colors cheaper than TRW, but TRW has all of the fancier colors. I think I have answered all of your questions!!

    • @MissMaryEmbroidery
      @MissMaryEmbroidery  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You would need an outside program, design space doesn’t have a function to allow you to make your own templates. I would check out the silhouette studio business edition (paid upgrade), you can create & export as an svg. Inkscape is free & I believe it has tools for Rhinestones. I use the rhinestone world’s wizard which works inside Corel draw but it’s expensive for a causal user.

    Hi I was unable to understand the Cricut settings for cutting. It would be mice to see you select specifically all settings. New to Cricut and understanding each move is important. Also do you have templates for mask or could these be resized? Great video and thank you.

    • @MissMaryEmbroidery
      @MissMaryEmbroidery  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I really wouldn't recommend rhinestones for a begninner....it would be much better if you were pretty proficient at your cricut before you tackled rhinestones. I do not have templates for masks. And you cannot re-size a template--the rhinestones have to fit in correctly, so you cannot change the size from the size the designer created it.

      You can totally make rhinestones with the Explorer AIr 2! What ever setting I used, it was mentioned in the video, I don't remember right off hand. I think some times Cricut & Silhouette just says no to things, rather than trying to trouble shoot something that isn't there product.

    • @MissMaryEmbroidery
      @MissMaryEmbroidery  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So I am doing this with a brand new blade that might be the difference.
      I would try........
      1) test cutting you settings next time, draw a couple of circle in DS & try them out with your settings
      2) You can try more or less pressure in the settings based on if it is cutting to deep or not deep enough
      3) Check out the Rhinestone World, he has come up with some custom settings for the flock
      4) Also if you aren't using the Red or Blue flock, it will be different settings, not all flock is the same.

      Sorry I missed your comment, I try to respond to all of them! Design Space is an extremely limited program, & for the most part is only for bringing in an already created design & cutting it. So a lot of Cricut users go to other programs so they can make their own designs, modify existing designs or work around some of DS's quirks. I hope that helps!
