The thing I hate about WaW the most is that it has never been remastered and just a tad bit under-recognized. Seems like lots of people still doesn't know it exists and is turned away by hearing its World War 2, despite it being the best WWII CoD

I think the reason for that is when Modern Warfare 4 came out COD was still only known for being a WWII shooter series when that had really grown stale and MW4 was a nice breath of fresh air, World at War just felt like a step back from that IMO

For me at least, the supply drops and new weapons killed the COD4 remaster. As a preservation of a timeless classic, I felt it to be disrespectful to inject cosmetics, weapons and systems that were not a part of the original game and upset the gameplay loop and aesthetic
Idk why but it never bothered me. I kind of liked the refresh and they never did anything wild like mw3 is doing
I was cool with it. The collections system made it so you could get whatever you wanted, and if the game didn't receive new weapons and cosmetics then it would've died seriously fast which would've not been good due to not many people playing Infinite Warfare.
Vanguard could’ve been awesome if it took a Wolfenstein approach. With more time to develop it, it could’ve been the most unique of the World War 2 era CoDs.

What's really wild is that most of these games are still selling close to $100 each.
It is rather paradoxical that people in the community still claim to love the games of the golden era between 2007-12, yet will complain about “slow” movement in any modern game. MWII (2022) removed a movement exploit? Good. Slide cancelling and other exploits like bunny hopping were never supposed to exist. Calling the game a “slugfest” is laughable, when the game is considerably too fast due to unlimited sprint, sliding and the fact players have enough ammo to not have to slow down most of the time. The game, by the standards of prior boots on the ground entries, including more recent ones like MWR, is considerably faster. Either players have amnesia and simply don’t remember how the older games played or they’re mindlessly parroting slogans. I absolutely believe that the games from COD4-BO2 were the best by far, and the fact that the game slowed the player down is part of why they were better and less sweaty. MWII is not a slow game by any means, and if such a minor change is why the community acts like it’s the worst game in the series, then they’re delusional. It’s pathetic.

I honestly didn't have a bad time on modern warfare 2 (2022) and enjoyed it. It's actually my most played game of the modern cod era because of how reminiscent the movement was of the old cods.
I'm almost 30, and have been playing cod since the first game, so I enjoy the slower paced version of the cod games. The mantle system was weird, the ttk reminded me of ghosts, and the maps were mostly horrible, but it was the closest to home I've felt in a while.
Host advantage was my pet peeve.

The most annoying thing about CoD is the themes. It's the main reason I quit Vanguard. It's why I haven't touched MWIII since season 2's launch. It's also why I considered not purchasing the last battlepass of both MWII and Black Ops Cold War.
Tist... modern warfare 4 remastered had loot crate guns that were league's better then any normal gun. From better snipers, better shotguns, better smgs all from loot crates
(But mw4 remastered had scrap/money from crates that let you craft the guns rather then RNG) but none the less the remasterd had all its OG guns be useless
I dont need to say it but they added akimbo sawed off shotguns... they are still more powerful then mw2 akimbo shotguns, and to this day players still run around with them
Worse thing to happen was moving from war fighters to paintball warriors in camo. The slide and jump system makes any sof guys angry thinking people believe they are running around in theater like that
The whole Warzone thing really pissed me off. One day I went to get online and they shut down the server like you said to force everybody onto the second one. Dumb move on their part.
I liked the divisions, it forced you to play a certain way, god fucking forbid you can't have everything...

I went from old skool B01 multiplayer to the modern MW3 multiplayer - my biggest peeve is just how convoluted the UI is now. I went from earning ingame currency to unlock things, to battle passes, armoury unlocks, endless bundles, menus within menus withn menus, basic game modes (domination, tdm etc) hidden away etc... it's taken me a while but I'm comfortable with it now, at least with the stuff i use. I haven't even explored 90% of the other stuff though.

In my opinion, the worst thing about call of duty is that the devs didn’t really care about what the fans want, and just threw stuff in the game that don’t make sense. However, I have high hopes for bo6. They had ever since 2020 to make this work.
Ik deathstreaks are a pain but on Plutonium MW3 Assassin has actually toxic asf, it's basically BO1 Ghost 2.0
SBMM is perfect in CODM. I can now say that CODM was the best COD ever released. the only bad thing in the game is its zombies. other wise its perfect.
I'm a CODM player and the game is not that good. The multiplayer and the grindable camos are really good but the other thing are not. Like the br is full of bots, the zombie mode is just trash, the bundles are ok, the size of the game is huge compared to others. If it wasn't a mobile game, it would be better, because there would be more players to play br.

@@atkas play the BR more. you will know the difficulty of the game. Multiplayer is write frustrating sometimes, but it will be soon fixed. Zombies definitely needs some work
I still think what Sledge did with MW3 multiplayer is impressive given the time frame. That being said they were royally thrown under the bus by Activision changing the release schedule and it shows in the campain. If the campain was only the full story missions without the filler and it was simply a DLC to MW2 it would've been fine.
The biggest thing that saw Ghost being such a problem was the removal of Stopping power and Juggernaut.
In cod4/waw/mw2 you were making quite the tradeoff in exchange for being hidden from the Uav and other streaks. In black ops 1 there was no such tradeoff so ghost became the dominant choice
One of the main reasons why mw2 movement is so sluggish was to open up to dmz which at the end of the day some people forgot, dont even bother or dont even know it

10:28 I think it's good they tried out kill streaks not resetting on death. It gives the less skilled players a chance to try out the more powerful kill streaks if they keep trying. The problem I see with the traditional kill streak system, is that it creates a feedback loop than gets gradually more punishing fore the less skilled players. The more skilled players keep getting more powerful kill streaks to get more kills which in turn lets them get even more powerful kill streaks. It's not fun for the player if they're in a match where they're bottom of the leaderboards and can't get a kill on the better players because half the time they're in a gunship that's impossible to shoot down before it expires.

also the gunsmith and weapon progression system in mw2022 was so irritating and overcomplicated for no reason
The most annoying thing in Warzone for me is the matchmaking, a few days back I started as a newbie, no meta guns, no attachments, nothing, went into any game mode, always got bodied. Like how the hell are high level players in my lobby while my random teammates are poop doesnt make sense. And yes I quit it, im okay with just playing the campaigns

I used to run double shot gun riot shield in MW2 2009.
With MW3 (2023) it really is the Health for me, I hate the 150 and hope BO6 fixes it or allow for something between Hardcore and Core - other than that, too many movement options, sometimes you wanna mantle, doesn't work, then you wanna jump and you mantle something, then you wanna climb up somewhere but you just hold onto the ledge cause the jump up only works and inch to the side, it's too many at once that interfere with each other sometimes. (no one needs Ledge Holding)
Martydom should be an honerable mention.
I think limited sprint is the worst.
Nah the most maddest thing ever is when the deployment is disabled and your fighting a guy right your low health and your plating but while you plating a another guy comes and kill that maks me mad

Aside from the dumb skins and camos COD should try to bring back some realism to the game. First , the jump button should only activate while actually trying to jump up / over an obstacle. Too many people are prancing about like faeries which looks totally dumb. Next are the A-holes who run around the map with a melee weapon. If a fire arm takes about 5 hits to bring someone down , stabbing someone in the foot once shouldn't be an instant kill. I've been with COD since the beginning and leaving behind ' Medal of Honor ' because COD seemed more realistic and fun. COD has become a silly arcade game.

The supply drop weapons were by far the worst thing in BO3. At one point it got so bad somebody did the math and found out on average it (since supply drops were a chance kind of thing) was cheaper to buy much of the guns IRL than in BO3.
Juggernaut definitely should be the cod4 pick and second chance should be the BO1 pick. I didn't have any problem with target finders in BO2 even though people complained about them. Players that used them+LMGs were usually stationary targets. Just go around. Basically a non issue.
Advanced movement definitely should be the pick of advanced warfare. Slow ttk and hero shooter mechanics should be the picks of BO3/4. I totally checked out of cod at this time. Freaking hated those games.
M16 in cod4 remastered was the same as the original. It has always been busted.
The complaints about doors were always hilarious to me. So many things to complain about and you choose DOORS?
I LIKED cold war's killstreak system. What I would choose is the annoyingly slow ttk.
I PREFERRED MW2's slower movement. Slide canceling is dumb and shouldn't even exist. I miss BO1/2's more simplistic movement.

Personally I like the movement of MW2 2023.. the two things I hate most about it though would be the SBMM and attachment system. I shouldn't have to use 2 other guns and level them up just to use one attachment. Secondly, I shouldn't be thrown into sweaty try-hard lobbies just because I had a good match or two with my friends.
The greed for Money is the worst to ever happen. The current state if COD lets me think that the devs smoked way too much weed. COD was once a serious fps. Now i see niki minaj and snoop dog running around.
Everybody dogs on BO3 for the campaign, but I actually really enjoyed it. To me the most infuriating part of that game was the pre patch brecci and later the China lake

BO3 & BO4's SD system is what pisses me off. Standalone DLC guns locked behind SDs or limited time events. BO3 zombies is okay, but it ain't BOCW or IW zombies imo.
Cod ghosts is severely underrated. But the big maps really needed more players, but what I like about the game is every guns ttk was identical.
Yeah ghosts multiplayer was flawed but I honestly never played it I mainly was an extinction fan. I absolutely loved the extinction game mode. It's honestly better than zombies in my opinion because it didn't just feel like a constant shooting fest of hitting the exact same enemy over and over and over again. It actually had many varieties of enemies ranging from hunters to rhinos to scorpions and even gargoyles. It was an absolute blast to play especially with the variety of gear you can bring to help your friends. From riot shields to mini guns alongside different pistols you could bring to different classes and even relics to make the game more challenging by limiting what you can have. I especially loved the teeth system as it made me play the fun game mode more to grind for completion. I literally have a max level character with everything unlocked from dual class to electric knife to cryptid slayer ammo. It was an absolute blast to play and it's why it's number 3 on my list for best cod.
I have to disagree with all the guys about Advanced Warfare supply drops. because now you have to buy the blueprints and they had some unique stuff
Me personally i hate that Mw2019 makes you install warzone to play multiplayer so the game ends up being 200 gbs and half of it isnt even usable. To make it worse, none of the game is on the disc so if they ever decide to cut access from stores it wouldn't be playable thus reducing it's status as a preservable game. Also riot shields and doors idk anyone who hates doors but i know plenty that hate riot shields.

Its insane how bad MW2 and some of those other old cods were. Everyone has so much nostalgia acting like those cods are better than recent cods. Noob tubes, one man army, martydom, commando, 1887s, just so much garbage. And they took forever or just never patched things. Nowadays in the modern mw3 there isn't often things that are just insanely broken, and if there is it gets patched in a week
Tbh mw2 (2022) movement was more realistic and didn’t bother me same with ads the only thing I hated was audio it was terrible and was most of my deaths trying to figure out if the steps were above or infront of me
Whats funny is bo1s ghost us exactly like MW2s coldblooded and the one from cod 4. Its always active. Juggernaut from waw is also in cod 4 and its not 1 more shot, its like 1.5x health i think, maybe more? And deathtreaks in mw3, most of that was in mw2, final stand where you keep your primary and get up after so long, pain killer, which was basically juggernaut
One thing I hate about MW3 is the stupid SVA 545 because the games TTK is already too quick but that gun shooths the first two shots at once meaning you can die practically instantly its so annoying

Bo2 had the most broken perk system of all time, and scanvenger would regenerate every piece of equipment, making camping the worst ever, you could stack the perks on top of one another from the get go. It was stupid broken.

There's multiple things you could name for mw2019 like no minimap, no prestige and bad maps.
The thing that ruined cod for me was "enhanced movement." I dont like sweating so trying to cap someone scraping the leftover crap off their bum while sliding is annoying af.

MWIII outside of a bad campaign is actually a pretty underrated game. The goofy operators mess up the immersion but the maps, weapons, mechanics, perks and kill streaks are all good. SBMM is tough but that’s due to the community being so damn sweaty. Don’t believe me? Play at 9 AM on a week day vs 9 PM. You will have a blast in the morning facing casuals vs at night when all the sweat lords hop on to win the grand prize of a million dollars
For OG MW2 you frogot the FAL, that paired with players who went out of theyre way to get a rapid fire controller it wasnt fair at all cause they didnt cap that guns fire rate.
Scorestreak on the Cold War was hated... so we're not going to mention Brocken smgs like the mp5, tec9 and lc10.

I’m going to argue that bo3 was the last campaign I enjoyed personally I loved it and playing with friends was fun but I can understand why people didn’t like it it was my first cod and I just remember having a ton of fun
The Doof Doof had NOTHING on the DMR meta that same year. Zero recoil, hitscan bullet speed, zero distance damage drop off, and something like three or four taps to body. Everyone I knew quit until it was fixed. Every other annoying meta people stuck through, but the DMR era? Nope, my friends list vanished.

Last stand should at least be in warzone, or be allowed to pick up and move your down teammates to a safer spot to revive

I hate vanguard for being a bad WWII cod game. I enjoy just messing around in quick match with my friends, but I just can’t enjoy anything else, I was happy to have a new WWII game though. I’m a sucker for the 1939-1945 games.
