I wish Mr. Stammers would just be honest and say that he saw an opportunity to capitalize in an industry that is growing exponentially while profits are at an all time high. At the end of the day it’s all about his bottom line and I suspect that the art of perfumery isn’t what drives him. I think you also missed an opportunity to ask him about the poor customer service reputation he and his company seem to have garnered over the years. As a new brand that seems to cater to fragrance reviewers, I would want potential paying customers who are watching my brand’s videos to not be worried about ordering. With so many clone houses competing for business with one another, having a reputation of poor/substandard customer service would be something that I would try to eliminate. He could have addressed it here, apologized, and stated it’s something he’s working hard at improving. Thank you for putting this video together, Mr. Smelly. I’ll continue to support you and your channel.
With the amount of Pineapple options he's released that this hints to him solving problems that Creed created with their wildly varying batch variations and instead Parfums Vintage have consistent products and you know what you are getting (smokey/ fruity) etc. Whilst creating it's easy to say that Parfums Vintage don't create - I certainly don't see any other clone houses putting out the quality that PV do and the Aventus clones they are in a league of their own.

The man is a genius. All his offerings are top drawer. I reach for Emporer every time. My Aventus is still 80% full. I see no point in paying extortionate prices for fragrances that don’t perform. Damien did the world a favour. I like his approach and customer service. Treat him with the respect you’d expect back. Act like an entitled, demanding little snowflake and you’re gonna be treated accordingly.

Parfums Vintage is crap. They sent me a bad fragrance about a month ago and I’ve sent them numerous emails. Not one response. I was told to let the fragrance age in the bottle by a friend but it has not changed one bit. Smells nothing like a rush of unicorns sample I recieved

Creed doesn't make 2011, 2013 Aventus, or even 1990s GIT anymore. I'm sure owners and traders of these fine fragrances really enjoy them. If PV can make 2013ish Aventus that blows the doors off modern Creed iterations at a way lower price point, then it stands to reason Creed could too at any time: they have massive economies of scale, access to material advantages versus smaller clone houses. Hats off to the clone houses who offer their products to us non-Creed, Roja, Xerjoff affording folks. To the clone hating commenters: relax. Your originals smell better and your perfume shelf causes jaw-dropping admiration. There is no grand knocking-off or intellectual property theft. Take a look. Try to find perfumers earning sales commissions 5 years later. Think about whether a perfumer whose frag is cloned like crazy has trouble getting paid.
I would love to see Damien do a Dolce&Gabbana Pour homme Vintage made in italy. There has been other clone houses doing this fragrance. But I think Parfums Vintage could be the one to get it right.
Lol Inspired, there is a thin line between stealing and inspiration. if I started making shoes with reversed swoosh i would end up with a fine and court order but for some reason is completly ok clone parfumes, i guess you cant own rights on pinappple scent.

I have three PV scents and they are uniformly of very good quality. I can also say that I have not faced any issues with the products that have arrived swiftly and well packaged. Some commenters here clearly have some issues with the company, and I am not here to white knight for them, I will just say that my own experience has been completely positive and I love their perfumes.

I have 10+ fragrances from Parfums Vintage's lineup and can't speak more highly about the quality of their fragrances and customer service. Quality of the "juice" is amazing and in some cases I prefer Damien's take on it vs the original fragrances they are inspired on.
I only ever see the same people complaining online about PV when it's some issue that they caused themselves by emailing 2 days after ordering demanding to know where the product is when the company already advised of the 10 days dispatch. I have 7 of their fragrances and I've had 4 friends buy their products without issue because they don't have entitlement issues.
Nice interview but he failed imho in his goal of same quality for lower price. P.Vintage smells similar true but you can tell Aventus has a lot more quality in it. I got rid of my samples, not for me.

You of course came up in scents I been casing and your live marathons are a bonus and I listen occasionally cause the only other funny guy doing the frag thing is Killafrags, but he has a tendency of like say bipolarness, like he comes hard, hilarious, does some really killer live shows and brings things to a nuclear way. Then vanishes. You are quite stable. Now I was hearing all about Parfums Vintage. Overall I get a good vibe from reviews, Reddit. I see bashers and I needed to see this. I want to make some multibottle purchases if they get prices around $100US. I'm more into the other stuff. God, do they really have to do so many variables?
90% of the Aventus batch i tried last 1-2 hour on me and the rest if im lucky last 4hr, PV Intense, King, Vanilla, ecc last at least 10-12hr and still projecting from my clothes the next day. Been an Aventus lover, the performance is really making me frustrated and constant looking for a new batch or and older one, i came to the point where i constant looking for something similar with better performance and PV is what i found to have both the performance and the quality. The differents pineapple realeses are a great option and i hope many more will be realesed cus they improving all the time and im near to the day where i wont buy Creed Aventus any more. However Aventus is still king and nothing is satifying me in case of scent like Aventus, also i dont mind paying 400-500 for a good batch but if the performance is shit i dont see the idea to have a frag that its so useless cus by the 1-2hr mark you are left with a close skin scent. Every time i wear PV i get compliments and rarly i get complimentet with aventus after the first 1-2hr🤔 with PV i keep getting wiffs of my frag the whole day and actually feeling that im wearing a fragrances and that the most important thing for me, 3 sprays of King and im good for the whole day without respraying! PV is the best house with similar Aventus fragrances and im sure we will have many more in the future and thats a good thing cus i hope one day there will be a Realese that will satisfy me like Aventus do with the scent but the new one will have the Performance with it and then Aventus will be like an ex wife who died in a car crash RIP!

PV are a UK-based company. As Belgium and the UK are both member states of the EU you can spend whatever you wish without incurring any tax or customs duty.

I see a lot of reviewers championing this brand and extolling how magnificent it is. It’s because they make clones. Most TH-camrs will mention the original fragrance in their lists rather than a clone (and when it comes to Aventus, there are tons of them).
I'm sure Damien could have stopped when he produced PV Intense as everyone considered that to be the best Aventus clone but he did one even better when he released Emperor. Nobody had a version that was anywhere near as good as his and it's a credit to him that he clearly puts in a lot of work to not settle with a classic like Pineapple Vintage Intense. Most other companies would just promote that and spend money on advertising to sell more but he seems to focus on is craft. I think he is very important to the community whilst there are companies like Creed who just want to put out Aventus with no consistency and ever increasing prices. Please continue what you do Damien
My impression is that Damien is obsessed with the quality of the fragrances and on providing ever more choice and that the sales just keep coming because people can smell the quality and the fragrant fanaticism that goes into each one. I have three PV scents and they are uniformly of very good quality. I can also say that I have not faced any issues with the products that have arrived swiftly and well packaged. Some commenters here clearly have some issues with the company, and I am not here to white knight for them, I will just say that my own experience has been completely positive and I love their perfumes.

He didn't attempt to promote his company over original colognes and I wasn't quite expecting him to say "buy the original colognes" and with 10 days waiting time for his products then he's clearly got plenty of people who aren't buying the originals
I have 10+ fragrances from Parfums Vintage's lineup and can't speak more highly about the quality of their fragrances and customer service.
Quality of the "juice" is amazing and in some cases I prefer Damien's take on it vs the original fragrances they are inspired on.
I only ever see the same people complaining online about PV when it's some issue that they caused themselves by emailing 2 days after ordering demanding to know where the product is when the company already advised of the 10 days dispatch. I have 7 of their fragrances and I've had 4 friends buy their products without issue because they don't have entitlement issues.

Nice interview but he failed imho in his goal of same quality for lower price. P.Vintage smells similar true but you can tell Aventus has a lot more quality in it. I got rid of my samples, not for me.
they have the best quality clones imo, id buy theres over some of the original frags tbh.

Mr Smelly sir! Dude you have not a clue how much respect I got for you. You done it the English way sir! Polite, funny, loyalty I can sense. You of course came up in scents I been casing and your live marathons are a bonus and I listen occasionally cause the only other funny guy doing the frag thing is Killafrags, but he has a tendency of like say bipolarness, like he comes hard, hilarious, does some really killer live shows and brings things to a nuclear way. Then vanishes. You are quite stable.
Now I was hearing all about Parfums Vintage. Overall I get a good vibe from reviews, Reddit. I see bashers and I needed to see this. I want to make some multibottle purchases if they get prices around $100US.
I'm more into the other stuff. God, do they really have to do so many variables?

90% of the Aventus batch i tried last 1-2 hour on me and the rest if im lucky last 4hr, PV Intense, King, Vanilla, ecc last at least 10-12hr and still projecting from my clothes the next day. Been an Aventus lover, the performance is really making me frustrated and constant looking for a new batch or and older one, i came to the point where i constant looking for something similar with better performance and PV is what i found to have both the performance and the quality. The differents pineapple realeses are a great option and i hope many more will be realesed cus they improving all the time and im near to the day where i wont buy Creed Aventus any more. However Aventus is still king and nothing is satifying me in case of scent like Aventus, also i dont mind paying 400-500 for a good batch but if the performance is shit i dont see the idea to have a frag that its so useless cus by the 1-2hr mark you are left with a close skin scent. Every time i wear PV i get compliments and rarly i get complimentet with aventus after the first 1-2hr🤔 with PV i keep getting wiffs of my frag the whole day and actually feeling that im wearing a fragrances and that the most important thing for me, 3 sprays of King and im good for the whole day without respraying! PV is the best house with similar Aventus fragrances and im sure we will have many more in the future and thats a good thing cus i hope one day there will be a Realese that will satisfy me like Aventus do with the scent but the new one will have the Performance with it and then Aventus will be like an ex wife who died in a car crash RIP!

PV are a UK-based company. As Belgium and the UK are both member states of the EU you can spend whatever you wish without incurring any tax or customs duty.

Parfum Vintage really has some great fragrances, I'd have to say Rush of Unicorns is my favorite. I prefer it over the current Creed MI for sure!

Mr. Naughton, I’m one of your many long time Canadian subs to your channel.... I generally love your content Sir, but with all due respect the Parfums Vintage Company truly perplexes me.... I see a lot of reviewers championing this brand and extolling how magnificent it is. Sadly though, over the last couple of years, despite ALL THIS HYPE & HOOPLA, I’ve sincerely NEVER EVER seen a Parfums Vintage Offering making it into anyone’s Top Niche/other lists... 🤷♀️ 🥺😳…. As a fragrance enthusiast, I tend to be leery of brands like these because while they get so much hype from the General masses, for some strange reason, they just don’t get that TRUE STAMP of approval. Thus making subs like me scratch our heads wondering “can it really be THIS GOOD, but yet never make it to anyone’s Top seasonal lists…?!?? Just my thoughts Sir and I do respect you immensely. They don't appear in niche top 10 lists because there is so much confusion over what niche is. However I see plenty of PV products in summer top 10 lists and spring top 10 lists so your comment doesn't have any credibility with reality. It’s because they make clones. Most TH-camrs will mention the original fragrance in their lists rather than a clone (and when it comes to Aventus, there are tons of them).

Emperor is off the hook, it's a 10/10 for me, smells like it has high levels of naturals.
I'm sure Damien could have stopped when he produced PV Intense as everyone considered that to be the best Aventus clone but he did one even better when he released Emperor. Nobody had a version that was anywhere near as good as his and it's a credit to him that he clearly puts in a lot of work to not settle with a classic like Pineapple Vintage Intense. Most other companies would just promote that and spend money on advertising to sell more but he seems to focus on is craft. I think he is very important to the community whilst there are companies like Creed who just want to put out Aventus with no consistency and ever increasing prices. Please continue what you do Damien
My impression is that Damien is obsessed with the quality of the fragrances and on providing ever more choice and that the sales just keep coming because people can smell the quality and the fragrant fanaticism that goes into each one. I'm not affiliated with the brand so I am just giving my honest opinion here.
