Hi Nina, It’s that time again. We are planning Disney. I want to stay on a deluxe resort on the monorail again. Last year we stayed at the Polynesian and it was nice, but I didn’t personally feel it was worth value per dollar. I think I want to stay at either the Contemporary or the Grand Floridian this time. We have a tree year old so I’m thinking Contemporary, BUT your review of the Grand Floridian has me contemplating this one. Any recommendations?

We were at Poly for the 1st time oct 1-7! We did monorail day & that lobby was beautiful 😍 We were hoping to see you but alas 😂 We’re making our way to staying in all 3 MK resorts for the 1st time!

Thank you for showing the gate to the kiddie splash area. Im trying to make sure which resort we may stay at has a gated off kid area from the other large pools. We are at that fast toddler stage! Do u for sure any others that do? I am aware of the riveria and saratoga springs, as well as animal kingdoms set up. Particularly trying to verify contemporary and poly and other deluxes.

I’ve stayed at the Grand Floridian several times, twice in the main building and twice in Conch Key.
I DO NOT recognize the rooms AT ALL!!!! They look like the rooms at the Plaza Hotel in New York and Palace Hotel in San Francisco, so Disney went above and beyond pulling out on the stops with the refurbishment. However the rooms look almost TOO nice for Disney. LOL!!! The Grand Californian at Disneyland is certainly nowhere NEAR this beautiful, so my hat’s off to Walt Disney World.
I’m now really excited for my visit to Walt Disney World and stay at the Grand Floridian this summer. :)

Hi Nina! Love your videos! Was wondering how you found the noise level to be in the updated resort rooms? Want to stay in one of the newer resort rooms with our DVC points but have heard that the walls are very thin and that you can hear everything through them! Not as worried about hearing other people’s noise as they are of being bothered by OURS! We have three little ones 5 and under! Did you find the walls to be thin during your stay in the remodeled resort studio?
I understand this completely, we are a loud family too. I didn't notice any noise but in all honesty I wasn't in the room for more than sleeping. We always pack a noise machine, but that's more for us than others. Thanks for watching/commenting!

Have they made improvements in respect to alligators not getting in as this was the hotel where a child was taken and killed by one few years ago
That was MANY years ago and Disney put up fences and signs immediately after. NEVER go in the water. Thanks for watching/commenting!
We stayed at the GF over Haloween and most of us didn't care for it.I have had better linens and towles at hospital stays.
