Wow!!! Too much time indeed! This is really cool. It confirms some of the hunches that I had, like Colorado being the third place overall so far, and Zitti e buoni being the shortest so far. Thanks for doing this, and if you decide to update it until I'm done, then mega thanks! Now all we need is a colourful spreadsheet that calculates the average for each country and year...
@@eurovisionconnor I'll definitely attempt to keep it updated with every new video in this series. Thank you for making me check the video for Karma again, paying extra attention to the backing vocals! While I can hear three instances that sound like "Karma" at around 2:30 sung by the high-pitched vocal effects, I didn't hear anything else. I'm not sure where you got the number 18 from, I didn't hear close to that many, there was nothing else that really sounded like "Karma" to me.
@@eurovisionconnor As I said, it's incredibly hard to catch it as they're practically whispering it under Anxhela's vocals, the first five start by the 2:04 mark. I'm honestly sure I miscounted as the ones after the 10th get incredibly trickier as the entire track gets more intense.
So the low-pitched almost whisper thing at 2:02 sounds like the backing vocals repeating Anxhela's vocals, singing "mua ra". A couple lines later the same backing voice does some lyricsless vocalisation. That's all of the quiet backing vocals that aren't clearly singing the lyrics up until the breakdown at 2:22. Here's my breakdown of all the layers of backing vocals there I can hear: There's this really low-pitched growl at the beginning where it's completely impossible to tell what it's saying, safe to ignore it I think. Then there's the most noticeable backing repeating something that sort of sounds like "Ba-da". Listening to it very carefully it does not sound like it's saying Karma at all, the consonants are definitely different. Most likely just lyricless vocalisation. There's also this higher-pitched sound immediately preceeding each instance of the vocalisation above, which is clearly one syllable (actually later sounds more like 3, overlapping with the previous), unlikely to actually be a word, not saying Karma. Then there's a slightly lower-pitched line that sounds like "oh-oh-oh-oh-oh" going underneath all of this. There are no consonants here at all, definitely not saying Karma. Near the end of those four bars I can also hear this little "sh" sound. This doesn't seem relevant. Four bars later, starting at 2:30, is where what I think could actually be saying "Karma" begins, high-pitched, very clearly two syllables, right vowel, and the consonants could quite easily be a "k" and an "m". Added at this point is also what sounds like one long note gradually increasing in pitch until it dies out. Then we're in the final chorus and the backing vocals are pretty straight-forward from there other than this one sound at 2:58, but it really doesn't sound like "Karma". Having listened to the whole thing very carefully, I would say there are 3 "Karma"s. If there is a distinct sound I've missed, please tell me!
The uploader only counted when the exact title was sang. The title was "Maps", which wasn't sung at all, so it would not count to have just "map" in the lyrics.
This is the only video that Georgia 2021 is 1st (because of the title of the video). Differently, it would be to the top 10 worst. Another video that this song would be first would be "the song with the most lyrics..." 😂
