Can we just agree the whole production of this years contest has been astonishingly good? Yes, I agree, also strongest year in terms of finalists. Thanks for all the countries participating in the GF.
I'm not sure about that, the sound was awful in the first half of the finals, literally could barely hear some of the artists, and in most cases I'd heard them perform before and knew they actually can sing etc. In my opinion that's far worse than for example the broken sun last year, because this year it affected the artists negatively and made them look bad. Yeah so every country that competes (including those not in the final) have a jury of 5 people, normally industry professionals, who watch the songs on Friday night. They rank the songs best to worst, an average is taken of all 5, then points are given to the top ten accordingly (from 1 to 12). This makes up 50% of the voting. During the televised show on the Saturday, the public are able to vote. To mitigate population differences in each country, instead of the votes being counted individually, every country has a set of televote points to give, from 1-12 just like the jury. So the top 10 most popular songs are ranked in each country and points are given accordingly, but when they’re announced they just announce all the points together rather than go back to each announcer to announce each country’s separately. The rest of the world vote is similarly amalgamated into a top 10, and the 1-12 points are given after that. Hopefully that makes sense? :)

Loved the fact that you loved Spain... deserved to win... But I also love Loreen... so, mmm (But I secretly wanted Spain to win, haha) Greetings from the UK...
Finland not winning was the biggest crime. This shows how closed the jury is towards non-generic and extravagant songs. They mainly just chose Loreen cause...it's Loreen. And Sweden. And it's radio-friendly.
Because it was Sweden? Maybe for Eurovision juries look past what Sweden’s reputation really is nowadays. Definitely the less popular of the Nordics. Mind you, our reputation is even worse now after the final. You can be happy we won’t receive any televotes in the future no matter the song.
Honestly you're not totally wrong. Loreen definitely had some favoritism and I'm saying this as a swede btw. We did not win because of politics though like some people claim we did
@@ESCRolly and thats the problem, the jury appeal even existing. juries shouldnt have just 1 type of song or 1 formula to go for, they are there to judge the songs as professionals. but they dont, germany and spain being vocally flawless in their genre and having niche songs barely got any points. the whole point for juries is them rewarding art and inhibiting joke entries to place high due to popularity. but they almost always go for the same radio friendly pop songs. and the argument that finland was 4th, really? did you not see the huge gap the juries created between the first and the rest?

Loved the fact that you loved Spain... deserved to win...
But I also love Loreen... so,
mmm
(But I secretly wanted Spain to win, haha)
Greetings from the UK...
This year was great, a lot of good songs, but the results were disgusting, 70% just felt wrong
We all know Finland won this year, jury doesnt count
Oh i was waiting for this moment too long
i still can't get over how austria flopped so much. like - WHY?!
Oh me God, Ukraine deserves to be 6th, so UNDERRTED so but so AWESOME staging. Love this
Yeah, I also don't get, why it is so underrated by the fandom.
Everyone wanted a Dance Breack, Channel impact
Yeah it seems so. Poland was unnecessary and Armenia was a bit out of the blue. Only Israel ate.
Ah yes Im on board for the Ciuto Tuto Nation.
Mother nation without Teya & Salena and Noa Kirel?(
"my family would get up on stage and start arguing" same boo
2:47 GIVE ME A WARNING i’m waiting for the bus and i have to hold in my laughter
We did not win because of politics though like some people claim we did
The juries still had Finland 4th tho, it was extremely generous considering this is not a jury appeal song AT ALL
@@ESCRolly and thats the problem, the jury appeal even existing. juries shouldnt have just 1 type of song or 1 formula to go for, they are there to judge the songs as professionals. but they dont, germany and spain being vocally flawless in their genre and having niche songs barely got any points. the whole point for juries is them rewarding art and inhibiting joke entries to place high due to popularity. but they almost always go for the same radio friendly pop songs. and the argument that finland was 4th, really? did you not see the huge gap the juries created between the first and the rest?
5:16 we are!!!! Israel is so proud of Noa she’s our national treasure actually
She can dance and she’s good looking but she can’t sing honestly
@@vignotum132 I disagree.
@@vignotum132 and we still won 3rd place so
@@vignotum132 yeah, sometimes her vocals were shaky, especially in the sound bite shown in this video.
@@HrvojeBan her voice was very nasal, making it extremely annoying to listen to imo. Other than that I didn’t hate it that much, I just expected better from someone who is that famous. Turns out she’s just the Israeli Addison Rae
3:20 We're not delusional,we just want something else than basic pop song to win.
Worst winner for past years.
Even Kalush Orchestra were better. At least they have a good song.
3:11 YES ! YES ! AND AGAIN, HOW DID SHE FINISHED A LAST PLACE OF TELEVOTES ????
The moment when luka said "game over bi*ch" was the most iconic for me.
C'mon guys he is hot as a prince.
6:14 Why did I find that so funny tho 😭
7:19 Imagine if he misspoked and actually said it live 💀🤣
AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO GOT STRAIGHT UP FLASHBACKS TO SWITZERLAND 2021 WHEN ITALY SAID "Tutto l'universo"?! GJON'S TEARS KICKED ME I THE FACE LIKE NEVER BEFORE 😭
Omg yesss
"her name is SHE" I can't....🤣
NEVER take capcut away from poland
im only joining mother nation if sidorela kelmendi is included🥰
Not you putting 'Aussie aussie aussie oi oi oi' and not me thinking about Chanlix aussies saying that 😂
As a German I really feel like you guys just hate us at this point
Noo I'm sorry for some people's pure lack of taste and insane lack of votes. Your song was perfect!! The performance and delivery too, everything was so good. I adore it and I'm far from being the only one. It's well done and really hits the spot
Noo,im very sorry for Germany, your performance was great, the song should have gotten top 10 with France,Armenia,Austria,Greece,Australia,Croatia,Cyprus and Italy
I'm gonna put it out here cause I didn't see any other comments about it so.. at 0:59 "AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE OI OI OI" It reminded me of SKZ Bangchan and Felix :D
Jesus, music of the flag parade, always captivating, great show🎉
as a polish person, me and my parents made jokes ab blankas song bc why not
My favorite part of ESC this year is that literally everybody got robbed
This video is ICONIC 😂🤣💜
Million kisses from France 😘
LA ZARRA I CAN’T LMAO ”that is my t!ddy ” IM SORRY I CAN’T😭😭😭🤚🤚
3:30 so basically you're saying the whole Europe is delusional, because Loreen didn't won the televote in ANY country
She still came 2nd in the televote…
@@ESCRolly which doesn't change the facts not one country wanted her to win which makes her unworthy winner
5:55
“Tell me Graham whats your favourite movie in French?”
Graham:😶”yes”😀
You forgot the absolute betrayal that was Greece giving Cyprus only 4 points
Mentioned at 9:52!
how iconic was this year honestly I don’t think I’ve ever seen every contestant vibe this well
You forgot the moment when Greece didn't give 12 points to Cyprus. That was ✨iconic✨
I mentioned it at 9:52 !!!
@@ESCRolly oh. Didn't notice that :)
Spain getting just 5 is lit enough for me to enter my rep era wtf😢
im sorry im commenting that much but
TEYA'S UGH AFTER ITALY'S POINTS THAT WAS LITERALLY MY REACTION
10:00 I CAN'T BREATH HAHAHAHAH
10:30 aww babes that is not a retainer 💀😭❤️
7:14 BRO I LAUGHED SO HARD IDK WHY 😭😭
I will never forgive Europe for our televote
5:16 WE ARE🦄❤️
i have respect for you for being so positive about so many of these, every year i love 5 acts tops, and complain about all others 😭
NOT THE FERGIE CARTWHEELS I ACTUALLY SCREAMED
