I've been to this particular Ripley's, but years back, and it was super cool
I LOVE ROBERT RIPLEY, and such an amazing life he had
You, Michael and Jessica, are sort of living the life like Ripley had, perhaps not as extreme, but the two of you are travelling (again, not like Ripley did) telling people stories, explaining history (even Jessica said it perfectly-the odd-end of history), entertaining the audience, and like Ripley, you do it with style and class
Ok, Michael, you're going to have to talk in a future video of your sideshow days and do the spoon and necklace trick for us.....this is a must! lol
That was good with Jessica and the box, lol...."What's in the box?" LOL, ALSO, I really think Jessica needs a pet spider
It is kind of sad that one has to pay so much money to be able to enjoy everything the museum has to offer. I know some of the other museums you've attended, not Ripley-related, seems so, so much better
    Happy Halloween🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃

Love Saint Augustine is a cool place. The castle etc. First time I seen a man painted like a statue. They have a Ripleys in Gatlenburg TN. Really cool how things in the past were so unique and so many forgotten traditions. Hopefully we get back to the unique things with so many new materials using 3d printing and hopefully we can keep our traditions revive some old once and possibly create some new ones. As long as theyre healthy.

I know this is very late, but you guys need to come to South Carolina, Charleston specifically, it's absolutely beautiful and rich in history, haunted places, beautiful graveyards, an oak tree that is over 2,000 years old called the Angel oak, and much more, you guys would really enjoy it. I almost forgot, as a fan of Edgar Allan Poe you guys may enjoy eating at Poe's tavern, he was stationed in Charleston when he was in the service, the restaurant is dedicated to him and his work.

I saw this video and I had to watch it, since I’ve been an employee at that particular Ripleys for two years and I will tell you yes it is very haunted the two women did not die in a fire they were murdered but you have to come back to hear the rest of the story.😉 there have been proven to be 18 entities in that building. It was built in 1887 on top of a mass grave from the fort. it is also the very first Ripleys that opened on December 25, 1950 and it is the only one Robert Ripley’s actually stayed in when it was a hotel. We have done some changes we no longer have some of the things on the third floor so I highly invite you guys to come back and check out our new additions and of course play with my beautiful Boris-The tarantula. I really enjoyed your video I’m glad you guys enjoyed our museum. We did have a “house of horror” section years ago but small children were scared of it so it was redesigned.

I find it very amusing that u breeze right over all the pay to play BS that fills your museum. They didn't enjoy it. They were trying to br kind in their review and find some positives. If u listened to their review at the end you'll know they didn't enjoy it. You telling them they have to come back to hear thr ghost story is so in line with things tho. Gotta spend more money to find out right? They aren't going to come back and spend more money for something that was mediocre at best. Ripleys need to rename their museums Ripoff. I've been takes into going to 3 different ones. None of them were worth what we paid to get it. A family with 2 kids doing all the fun stuff will end up costing about $200 at one of the cheaper locations if the dont buy anything in the shop. It'll be about $300 if they buy stuff in the shop. That's insane and not worth it at all. Ripleys is nothing but a cheaply made, slapped together money grab.

Love all your videos Guys & especially like how honest you are about the venues. As you said there should be a one off Payment at the door & then all the indoor attractions are free. I think you nailed it by saying it was very touristy. Thank you for all the work you guys put in(travelling, editing etc...) You have a very satisfied new subscriber from Dublin, Ireland.

Ripley's in Niagara Falls Canada seemed to be pretty good when I went through it 30 years ago. It closed down a few weeks ago due to the Covid-19 and won't be reopening ever again, they are selling all their items in the museum through some online auction if you're interested in owning any of their weird stuff!

One of my oldest best friends used to have several of these hair wreaths, she and her ex-husband who were well-to-do used to collect a lot of antiques, in fact one of the ghosts that I’ve seen in my life was due to the 18th century bed that I would sleep on when I spent the night at their house.

I believe the last time I've been to a Ripley's museum was in Branson, Missouri back in '08..maybe '09..as cool as some of the things they have are..the actual museum itself I wasn't to impressed with..along with paying to get in..they too had many other things you could pay to do..and with Branson being a tourist trap..it really wasn't surprising that they were asking for more money..thanks for sharing!!!

I’m 5’2 I would look funny next to Wadlow
That’s cool you did a side show. Have you ever seen the Jim Rose side show?
Omg I love the Freaks movie. I was so excited when AHS did freakshow.
    The bone sculpture is awesome
That spider is a nope.. sorry. Heck no. Nope. Nope
I haven’t been to St Augustine since I was a teenager. I would love to go visit. Last Ripleys I went to was Gatlinburg, Tn. They usually have about the same attractions. You need to find a wax museum for a good chamber of horror
    Great video

Hey guys! Nice video... Sorry that Ripleys was a let down for you in saint augustine But if you Havent Left St augustine yet I might I suggest other things to do there :) if you haven't yet go on a tour there is many or them but it will tell you alot about the Oldest city and they even have ghost tours! I haven't been to Ripleys because its one big tourist trap but I have Villa Zorayda Museum ( which was beautiful ) and the lighter museum so if your still in town go there too :) and of course the Castillo de San Marco you can always visit! There is so much to do in that little city 💕

I have to agree with you Michael. When I was a kid back in the 60s and 70s, Ripleys in Gatlinburg, Tn was cool. It was very odd. But my family and I went about 3-4 years ago, our first time back to Gatlinburg in 12-15 years. We went in the Ripleys, after it was rebuilt after the terrible fire, and I have to say, it was totally disappointing. It was almost as if it was a kiddie museum. Nothing, weird, odd, or scary. A child could walk through alone and not get scared. In my opinion Ripleys has dropped the ball badly and I don't think they will ever pick it up again. If you aren't aware, Ripleys dominates Gatlinburg and some in Pigeon Forge. I feel it has become a great ripoff artist in itself. By the way, I love yall's vids. I just discovered yall a few short weeks ago. The video about the Buddy Holly plane crash and the last place they played at, was very cool to see.
