I love the way a different strap changes the look of the watch. These all look great on BB58 - I particularly like the MCL cuff - It is so unique and brings out the vintage look of the BB58. My favourite straps are from Cincy Strap Co. - I often find natos itchy and Zack's SB straps are comfortable and they have lasted longer than other ones I have owned.
The BB58 comes alive on a suitable Nato in my view - I have a selection, some of which you've featured here. I wouldn't give the Tudor bracelet the time of day, which is why I bought mine on the leather strap (no wait either!).
Thanks Sam for the informative video. All interesting, though if to vote for one would be Watch Gecko Bond strap. I have one myself, 24mm version, on my G-Shock. Cheers
Nice video and some great straps you showed there, very inspiring! Could one use the same springbars that come with a BB58 metal bracelet when changing to a NATO or leather strap?
Loved the strap review! Does anyone know where I can by the official metal bracelet for the Tudor BB58? I am willing to spend a little to get it. Bought mine on the NATO as well. It is my everyday watch. I have gone snorkeling, scuba diving, long hard hikes in the Appalachian Trail and so forth with it. It is a tank. Even shot off a few 50 cal rounds while wearing it and nothing happened. Explorers couldn’t handle what I do but this guy here does handle it and handle it well. Please let me know where O can get my hands on the Tudor bracelet as I looked on line but failed to see an option for the bracelet.
@@CasualWatchReviews It is a rip off but will still get it and wonder if there is a Rolex bracelet that fits better like maybe the 5-digit sub I have. What’s funny is I love that watch but love my BB58 better. It O find something or a better deal for a genuine BB58 bracelet I shall make sure to share, but feel the likelihood of that is as good as Trump stating he is the biggest loser in the world! Lol!
Hi, great video. Where did you get the bars for the nato straps, I couldn’t see that Tudor did these, did you get them from the nato straps companies? If so how reliable were they?
I have owned both and both would be great for everyday wear. Buy the one you like the look of the most. You wont be happy otherwise. I bought the BB58 because I got caught up in the hype around the watch. Ended up selling it, on reflection I should have gone with the Pelagos for my personal taste.
I have also had both, for me the BB58 is better for the following reasons: automatic (although you get used to it on the Speedy, it really is a mission), water resistant, better dimensions for my wrist, no white hallow for the Saphire Crystal. It’s just more practical. Ended up selling the Speedy and buying the BB58 plus a Speedy reduced. Sometimes you have to own a watch to see what YOU really want and not what others tell you.
$800 is outrageous for buying the Tudor bracelet alone from them......which is why you should make every effort to buy it on the bracelet where it fetches $325 more at MSRP than the nato. $325 is still a fair bit for a bracelet but not unreasonable for one of the quality Tudor makes and is market for watches in this tier (eg the lower priced Sinn 556’s h-link bracelet is about $300)

I think this is the first I have heard of Cincy Strap Co, looks interesting thanks for the information Jeffrey
Currently waiting for my BB58 to arrive. Fantastic video breaking this down. Have been searching for awhile online. Thanks for putting in the work 👍🏽
Oh glad you enjoyed it Kyle! Love my BB58

Yep, I’m still bitter about the metal!! Thanks for watching David
Total strap monster....such a flexible piece. Great content.👍
Yep totally agree Don!

Hey David, yes they do a good job of their straps. I like the range they have and sometimes they have a great sale!

I like to use something called ‘fat bars’ for natos. They can be found on Amazon. They are thicker and stronger
Love the Vanguard runner strap and those leather straps are something else! Cool
Hey, thanks for watching and commenting!

Yep, you have to get it from an AD, prepare to pay about $800, its an absolute rip off as far as I’m concerned. It is a great watch!

Great review! It is tough finding out what actually works for each person.
Thanks Terry, yep I agree... I sometimes joke I'm more of a strap collector than watch collector.
@@CasualWatchReviews I am both!

I use these 'fat bars' they are the only ones I trust for a nato strap amzn.to/3wwZE7E
From which Brand is the Steel Stap what you dosn`t Like?
Strapcode
I definitely will check out MCL straps
Yep, I thing he does a great job of them!
I on the other hand like strapcode bracelet. Is not of the same quality as oem one but it is also $100 and not $800.
Speed master or black bay 58 for everyday wear?

Man cave straps look great! They seem to have a very good quality.
Yes I'm a big fan as you can tell! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Hey Geoff yes its a total joke what they charge for the steel bracelet. I still get pretty annoyed thinking about it.
Getting one of the nylon nato straps....
Oh which one!
