You really have to rotate the wheels! If you turn them 180°, they will wear out evenly and keep their shape. The way you ride them, they all wear on one side and this drastically changes the stability and lastly has an impact on your technique. Two simple rules: the first and the last wheel has to touch the ground, otherwise the setup is not stable. It is no problem if the 2nd or 3rd wheel dont touch the ground, because with your body weight they will be pressed down. 2nd rule: rotate wheels so that they wear down evenly.
@@mialily6787 Yes, but one side of the wheel wears out more than the other side (usually the inner side, because you use it to generate force). So one should take out the wheel and turn it around, so that "inner" part becomes "outer" part. In this way the wheels stay "pointy", instead of looking like the ones shown in this video, where only one side of the wheel is worn down ;-)
Grew up on inline but it's been 10 years since I've skated. Like everyone else I bought roller skates for pandemic boredom and couldn't seem to ever get comfortable on them. Finally tried on some inlines and omg you'd think I had never stopped! Ordering these asap. Keeping my roller skates for rink birthday parties etc, but won't be taking them out for exercise/recreation.
I've been trying to decide if I want to get the quads or inlines, I heard so many people having issues with the quads, this has 100% sold me on getting the inlines! Thank you!
Omggg thank you for this video! I hardly ever see post-use reviews. I'm about to order my first pair!! 🥳 BTW Your Jamie cutout spooked the heck out of me at 1:09!! LOL🤣🤣
I have these same exact ones and I have been using them for 5 months but I'm a beginner so mine are VERY scuffed. Just a warning for people like me who fall a lot: the sides will get scratches that you cant fix bc they're made out of plastic. But they are very sturdy!
I haven’t found the answer yet, on whether they are a true fit vs. running large or small??? I found the Impala website, because I wanted a different look - specifically, something with orange! I could not find the brand that I have, which is Solomon. I’ve had my Solomon rollerblades for around 23 years. I certainly don’t wear them a ton and I’ve never even changed the wheels. It’s difficult to find nice pavement that doesn’t rattle my organs!!! 😖😖😖
There is a company called razors that make aggressive skates and they use the same boot. Only difference is all these parts are riveted and the Razors Cult has replaceable parts.
I've got Blue/Pink color, the latest color. The wheels are in hot pink. Do they have the replacement wheels in the same color? Or they have only blue and soft pink? And it said there the wheels are 70mm but we can put 72mm. Does 80mm too big? Thanks
How does the weight and speed feel? I’ve been looking at tons of reviews and I’ve heard that they feel squishy or sluggish because of the plastic frame, what do you think?
I thought impala only make roller skates. The rollerblades color and design looks amazing. Is it for women only? I own K2 brand and never tried other brands besides rental skates. Great review. ❤ I subscribed.
If i'm 22.5-23 cm with big socks I should order 5 or 6 ? I'm mostly 36 EUR in shoes... in my vans I'm 5.5 (35 EUR) Please help me I'm afraid I'll get the wrong size 🙏 🙏
if you skate 3 times a week you might want to get better blades , i never skate them, but the wheel spacing looks akward, you'll have so much more joy .
@@rachaelhallmark1522 cool well that size makes them very inexpensive seems like the bigger they get the pricier so if you can roll and have a great time on those more power to you!!!

How to rotate
why do you have to rotate them if when you ride them they spin anyway

Thank you so much for making this video, I know you made it like 3 years ago but this really helped me make my decision to get them!
Seriously thank you for this!! Been debating these because I was worried about their lifespan

Thank you for this video!! There’s SO many reviews on their skates but not their blades! I appreciate it! 🥰
Thank you thank you soooo much for posting a whole year review! I was really on the fence about getting them but I definitely will now. ^_^
Thank you for the update. I was on the fence about getting these but I’ve made the plunge 🥰

Inlines are much easier to pick up in my opinion! Thank you so much!
I bought my inlines! I have the black/berry on there way within the week! Thank you
Thank you for the review . I have been debating about these for a month. I may just get them now
Thank you I’m returning to blading and what to choose has been a big deal. Yes rotate wheels for longevity. Can’t wait to skate. 👊🏻
tysm for making this video!! i rly appreciate the detail!
the worn out angle of the wheels makes me so uncorfortable ahaha

I heard peoples got rips. What do they mean by rips if it’s plastic like is there any part that’s rippable besides the inside?
That's why I've been iffy about getting them cause the scuffs ate going og to bother me after a while
Thanks for your review!! The color is really attractive to me.
Thank you for the video !!! I was told the fit is tight when you get them ? Since you had them for a year did you break them in or did you size up ?
out of the blue, but I thought there was a big spider on your ceiling 😂
Exactly what I was looking for! Great update :D good to know that Impala can make something that last 🙈

Blading is so fucking fun. Purest form of expression. One with the skate.
You can rotate the wheels before replacing them! You will get 50%-100% more skating out of them.
Are they decent/good to go fast on?

@@rachaelhallmark1522 thank you ❤️❤️
Hi, really helpful review!! :D
hey just wondering can u do like "tricks" in them like powerslide?
Thanks! Any sizing suggestions?
I went a size up to be safe. I could have gotten my regular size but wasn’t sure with online ordering
What is the sizing like? Should I go down a size?
they run small
Do they squeak when you are rollerblading? I heard they might squeak because they are plastic
Great video! If I wear a size US 10.5 should I get a size 11?
Yes that is exactly what I did and it was perfect!
Where do you ride them? Do you think they would work on gravel paths?
I ride them mostly on pavement, I do have to cross a few gravel areas and it has a little rough to skate on them
I own thease and they are really hard to turn in. I don't really like how big the actual boot is compared to my actual foot.
I think you have to get use to how big they are or get speed line skaters that are smaller

bruh
you’re supposed to rotate them 😂
I’ve never even seen them look like muffins before
How long did it take for them to arrive?
I put myself on the restock notification list. I think I had to wait a month. and once I ordered them probably took a week to get to me🙂
Only hardcore people go without the break. I would break my neck when not having it. 🤣🤣🤣 Can't break without it. 🤣🤣🤣
I haven’t got in line skates yet, but have you tried t breaking? Or the power stop
How much ?
Sorry I should have mentioned!! I’ll add a link to the description.$139.99
So does it mean that their inline skates are durable (and better in quality) than their quad skates? 😧
If you're going to buy their rollerblades change the wheels. Don't buy their wheels either, they're not good.
