amazing that you were able to see the northern lights. It's our dream! still hoping we get to see it before we leave Canada! Loved the time-lapse. The sand dunes looked amazing. We see wild horses almost everyday in Kananaskis. If you guys get the chance to explore Kananaskis you totally should! It's so underrated. There is a casino called Stoney Nakoda in Kananaskis that allows you to stay for free as long as you like in the parking lot and you can use their washrooms!
Stairs aren't put there to be stairs, they are their to keep the rail from eroding and washing away, especially necessary on heavily used trails, as with vegetation gone, there are no roots to bind the slopes
@@Meghanandmatt well, that’s your apps fault. Unfortunately youtube and Instagram mean that half a dozen lakes are over visited, Parks have to do what they can to maintain trails
I was also in Canada when I saw the Northern Lights. I was not expecting my heart to race so much when I saw them..it was probably because they had been on my bucket list forever. I'm so glad you guys got to see them too ❤️
Coming back to this video to say, I’ve wanted your Cotopaxi jackets since I saw you guys wearing them in your videos. Just woke up Christmas morning to one wrapped under my tree!! Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁
I came across your videos & been binge watching ever since & so far I’ve been enjoying your content very much ! You just gained a new subbie ! The views everywhere you go are absolutely beautiful !
Love seeing how excited you guys get here in Canada! Thanks for highlighting so many of the beautiful features of our country! So happy to see you guys enjoy it! 💖💖💖💖💖
That was such a well made video! Loved seeing the excitement you felt seeing the Northern lights Matt, amazing shots with the clear starry sky as well! Ahh we miss being able to see it ha. Great vibe throughout, loved it! ❤️
"Its honestly not worth it" 😆 Being from California I am so used to fires. We are on alert almost every year where my house is. The town that was completely destroyed (paradise) is just about 20 miles from here. I'm glad you twi were safe. I really enjoyed Canada, honestly more than Alaska, but of course I'm glad I went to Alaska. I am looking forward to seeing more of Canada next year!
Haha for us we’ve tried so many times and failed at least 90% of them! The paradise fire was tragic I can’t imagine what that must have been like being so close. We also want to spend more time in Canada next year! There’s so much to see here
If your going to do these videos of Canada, please learn to spell our provinces different names, guess thats too much to ask a person who knows nothing about Canada
Come on Richard, are you sure your a Canuck? Pretty lame excuse for a complaint. They are working hard to know more about Canada and I think that's awesome.
Are you dropping a 2023 wildlife/scenery calendar with Matts photos?!
That’s not a bad idea, Amber! Maybe we will
Your time lapse is unreal. I'm so happy you got to see Aurora, cheers from a fellow Canadian
Super stoked how the Timelapse came out! Cheers!
dude, you nailed those northern lights night shots!!!!!
Thanks! I’m so stoked how they came out!
So much beauty. And a sky without light pollution. YARR!!
There’s nothing better!!

Thanks guys! We didn’t expect to be able to see it! Wish we knew about that on the way up but maybe next time we go to Banff!

We know why they put stairs in. We didn’t expect it based on what AllTrails said

@@Meghanandmatt Its not about me ,its about you, so little respect for my country, maybe you should just go back to the states.
