God, as someone who recently cut off an abusive parent, the autism question at 7:06 got me. Makes me sad that parents preventing/discouraging a diagnosis is a shared experience, but it’s also strangely cathartic? Like, knowing I’m not alone in this struggle.
for burnout, if at all possible, go on a short medical leave. that's what i had to do to overcome my burnout. no amount of hobbies or distractions were able to pull me out, but taking a month off of work really helped. i was fortunate enough to have some money saved up and a partner to help carry myself through it though.

The dating app question reminds me how I felt my now husband took too long to reply to my first message and I insisted on waiting just as long to reply back. It's okay, though, we made it to the first date and all ended well.

Living in a commune really helps with recovering from burnout. Loneliness makes things just worse. Also music and arts and crafts are excellent ways to think something else than the stressful job. And is the job is too stressful and has negative impact on your health: just block and delete it. You deserve better. Move to a commune. It is cheaper than living alone.

The only thing I disagree with yall about is the answer given on people responding to you when they are interested in you. I've been extremely interested in someone before but I don't respond while I'm at work. It's not like I can just drop what I'm doing at work to reply to them. I'll reply back as soon as I can which tends to be breaks, lunch, & when I'm off work. So to tell that person to dump them just cause they don't respond when busy is horrible advice. What they should do is ask what the other person's work schedule is & only talk when outside that time frame.
I feel so understood on the fear of rejection, especially in romantic circumstances! I'm not personally bothered by romantic rejection and love staying friends with people even if they don't like me romantically because for me, romance is not the be all or end all. I value friendships so much. It might be also because I'm polyamorous, because I look at love as a thing that is different for each person and doesn't always need a label, just loving is enough

1) I would recommend the book Rejection Proof by Jia Jiang as a guide to dealing with rejection. It explains a lot of things with respect to rejection and how we deal with it as human beings. 2) Nothing to add, here. 3) Couldn't have said it better myself. 4) I would be wondering why they need one to begin with but in the end, it's their life. I'd say "go nuts, squirrelly". 5) Some of that was the worst advice I've ever heard. Some people should totally do them if only for everyone else's entertainment. It should go without saying that the previous sentence was a joke. Nice to see a new video after what seemed like forever. Keep up the good work.
