If you have Wickedness, you also have to have kindness. Here is my take on the Good Witch Glinda! I was so confused whether she was the witch of the South or North, and in the book it is the South, but in the move, it was the North. I really love the subtle changes I made, since I think I kept the integrity of the vibe that the doll originally had, and I am so pleased with everything!

@HeXtian for covering something in glitter, cover it in glue and put it and the glitter in a ziplock bag. then shake. It is much cleaner and easier to clean up! Hope this helps for other things like the shoes!

People complained about the molds causing the dolls to have same face syndrome? What did they want you to do, completely go in there and reshape the face with a dremel and clay? ...Actually that's kind of a cool concept, but besides the point. The molds, I feel, are capturing a vintage style. And the characters you've used those dramatic sculpts for have been ones that seem perfect for it. It becomes a trip through time of fashion, toys, and cinema rolled in one.
You do what you feel captures the spirit of the creation you want. People might not always agree with your choices, but that's all a matter of tastes in the end. I enjoy seeing what you come up with, which is why I follow you here and on instagram. You do you, boo.
If ppl want different ced vintage barbies, go for her clones. Most have different face sculpts

I grew up watching the Wizard of Oz every fall when it broadcast on Network tv. I played with Barbies from the 60s and 70s.. Although i customize new dolls, the originals will always be held in my heart. You made these dolls so beautiful....you breathed some life into Glinda and made her truly magical! The love of art, in all of its forms, knows no age. Your work is amazing!

The less messier way to put glitter on shoes is to dunk it in glitter after putting glue on and then tap it on the side

I LOVE how soft and pretty and colorful her face-up turned out. She looks really gorgeous overall, and she and Elphaba together are such a contrast! Fantastic work!
The dolls do look creepy at first, but IMO it’s mostly because they look so obviously fake and, well, lifeless. You do such a lovely job with every repaint and face-up; she looks SO much warmer and more inviting!

To say that you gave her your own spin is such an understatement ❤ I’m pleasantly surprised that you left her with the original hair. Her eyes looked very tiered before her makeover. You did such a wonderful job brightening them up 😮 I’m always beyond impressed to see you version come to life. The transition of the dolls speaks volumes of how passionate you are when recreating them. Her dress…WOW…I see why you left it the original length but I’m wondering how it would have looked a little longer 😊 The wand was so underwhelming as well has her crown. She went from the worst dressed list to the best dressed look ❤
