I thought the tractor just had a godly amount of pulling power. Nope, it was attached to a winch the entire time.
😃😃😇
Proved, when it gets lunched into orbit when it comes off
@@TheDougster123 no, it's just the joy of being on a bridge
Ikr💪👨🌾😂🤣
I thought the trailer was driven until I saw the cord lol
3:54 That tractor had very good reflexes and just jumped to safety 😂
😅😅😅😅
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Don't forget about 3:00. It freaking disappeared like a rocket
@@thefiresworddragon927 Oh right. Tractor be like "Something's about to happen... I'm out!" 😅
The fact that you made a bridge I could easily walk over in Legos is pretty mind blowing.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the video.
My high school has a miniature bridge building team and they've built bridges out of nothing but little chopsticks and hot glue that have held 100kg, I heard from one of them that the highest on record was something massive like 150kg by one of the other local high schools. Most of their designs are arch bridges since you dont have any mounting points aside from the sides of the gap and a bridge like at the end of the video needs to be mounted in multiple spots.
The tension on the Lego pieces stressed me out and they aren’t even mine 😂
Lego can withstand a lot, only 7 parts were broken.😂
I would’ve expected a whole lot more of them to break, particularly the roadway segments and connectors. Particularly any time that the weights fell onto the legos/landed on them.
The parts were pretty stressed themselves!
only 7 lego part was harm on this video lmao
Damn
This is such an awesome idea, showing how different building techniques can strengthen bridges just like in real life civil engineering, but the idea of potentially breaking Lego pieces does stress me out 😂
I'm glad you liked the video. I know what you mean, but in fact only 7 parts were broken.😃😃😃
I went to school for engineering and we did this with string, popsicle sticks, and hot glue. Legos would have been WAY more fun.
Pun intended?😂
@@LiveYourBricks it is cool, but as an engineer, your truss design was poor. If you're going to do a truss based design, vertical supports should not be used ALL supports between the bottom and top beams must be angled. When properly angled, the vertical beams will become zero force members (ie they do nothing) and if the truss shape (triangle to upsidedown triangle back to triangle) is made improperly with mixed squares and triangles like yours, that will hold loads poorly.
Satisfying video is satisfying.
3:03 got me in tears 😂
😃😃😃
😂😂😂
3:04 He really said GAS GAS GAAAS
Nothing could have prepared me to that moment
I don't know why but I can't stop laughing watching this part 3:03 the way the tractor just flies away makes me laugh so much

First person to experience 100 G in a tractor ever.
@@Lastskywalker😂😂😂 насмеялся в доволь!
Really surprised by the amount of weight this little bridge could handle, well done! Now what about a 200kg or a larger gap 100kg challenge? That would be awesome to watch!!
Thanks for this suggestion, I'll seriously consider it.
@@LiveYourBricksNot knowing anything about your education or occupation, that'd be a cool co-op idea with some of the engineering channels.
Wow Poly Bridge 4 graphics are insane
as an underweight man. i could probably backflip on that bridge with no more then a slight bend from the looks of it. good job!
I would love to see that same thing again but also with the tractor being gradually upgraded to pull the weight.
i remember doing a challenge like this a long time ago. my dad introduced me to a game called bridge builder. it taught me to build strong bridges in a physics game. then i had a engineering class in 4th grade and one day we were challenged to build a knex bridge and we needed to be able to support 30 lbs. i built a bridge and we tested it adding 5lbs at a time. eventually it came down to me and another kid who had successfully done 30lbs. the other kid’s bridge broke at 50lbs. the biggest dumbell the teacher had was a 120lb, and i asked if i could test with that. she couldn’t lift it but with a few 4th graders helping, we got it centered on my bridge. it held it just fine. then i asked if we could add some more. it finally broke at 145 lbs. the best part is that plastic broke before any joints came apart. i remember asking if i could include cables in my design but i was told no, so instead i used more rods.
Thank you for such a long and detailed comment, I'm glad I was able to inspire you with this video. It's fascinating how you can achieve anything with a few struts there, a few ropes here. Next I plan to build a Lego bridge, which should then be able to hold up to 200 kg. I'll then try to walk over it. I hope I can manage it, otherwise maybe you can help me. Greetings LiveYourBricks
@@LiveYourBricks Someone made a functional car out of Technic, a 200 kg bridge shouldn't be a problem. You're not even close to the max potential of a Technic bridge!
@@LiveYourBricks i subscribed so i can see when you upload that challenge
Nice that is almost 5x times over the specified breaking stress... I hope real bridges are built with such overkill.
I laugh so hard when the tractor went flying and also, thank you very much for sacrificing your legos for our entertainment
I'm glad you liked the video. Only 7 parts were broken.😃
Yea me also... rocket power😂
I couldn't help myself either 😂😂😂
I like the video, although you can argue what counts as a pass, also I would have stopped with a bulletproof bridge for maybe 10kg
Nawww always push the limit
Very fun. The bridge episodes of LEGO Masters are my favorite.
Don't know what the record is. In France, they stopped at 500kg for safety reason. Bridge was standing perfectly...
Great bridge construction, you are a damn good lego engineer
Hearing the stressing of the plastic gave me anxiety😅. Overall awesome vid. You earned my subscription 😊.
Thanks😃
This is just Poly Bridge 2 in LEGO at this point, good job!
3:03 back to the future 😂
Building a powerful bridge is easy. But building a bridge, that just breaks at the specified load, is very hard.
Whoa, I had no idea this piece was so versatile, that reactor you built was incredible! Great video
Technic builds are a whole different level of cool.
The tractor in 15,0 kg looks so fast and funny😂
Even 20,0 kg the tractor jump😂
Great demonstration of engineering concepts!
Long live the triangle!
This poor bricks 😮💨😮💨🙉
I found the police vehicle to be a bit annoying but otherwise cool video
Finally! some who uses normal units.
Oh shut up
@@BigbodyTonkaa no.
It was literally lego lever stick 4592c02 that holds tracktor and 20 kg trolley together? Thats the real hero of this video
You're right, I haven't seen it that way before.🤣🤣
In every school i think this kind of lego construction games should be introduced it can help them understand the complex concepts so easily in their higher studies...
Yes, you're right, many techniques can be taught in a playful way, for example with Lego technology. Then school wouldn't be so boring.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😀
3:06 the tractor: *zoooooom*
I'm amazed that the connection between tractor and trailer was held by a single antenna piece, insane!!
I'm glad you liked the video😃
Guy: 15 kg
Tractor: _"LET'S FUCKIN GOOOOO."_
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dunno why but I laughed so hard when the tractor flew away 🤣
😂😂😂
3:04 - "Hey, you should come over."
"I'm finishing up delivering some cargo."
"My parents aren't home...."

Lego Polybridge looks amazing
This is called Science, Engineering !!! Excellent
Something like that i used to do trass challenge competition in my civil engineering life
A perfect example of the importance of structural engineering in real logo life
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Ein sehr interessantes Video. 100 kg lego Brücke 👍🏼👍🏼
If we assume, tractor to be some small compact tractor with a length of like 4 meters or lets say 5 meters. Weights are usually cast iron. They are ABOUT twice as long. Their thickness is about a meter (judging from lego figure and assume they are like 2 meters).
One of those smaller discs weigh about 366 938 kg. They weight 5 kg irl so you need 20 of them to make 100.
I'd be impressed if any small bridge of that size could hold 7,3 million kg.. Or 260 "Boeing 737" planes on top of it OR indeed 11 empire state buildings (~730 tons.)
Maths will vary since I'm just ballparking.
Wow,👍🏼 that's what I call detailed calculation. Thank you very much for that. 👌 But also keep in mind that a real bridge is made of reinforced concrete and that is very heavy. A bridge like this must first and foremost be able to support itself. In the case of Lego parts, of course, this is not the case. LiveYourBricks
The road it's an absolute piece of alien technology
A good demonstration on why bridges have axle limits as well, and require more axles for certain weights
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
💪💪💪 Die Brücke schafft bestimmt mehr als 100 kg
Tension bridges
The sound of the dying LEGO bricks makes me feel uncomfortable.
Im glad the lego man was harmed in the making of rhis video and everyone made it out safely, thanks to the lego engineers for making lego city a safer place and upgrading our newrby bridge 😁
For a time i was, "forget the bridge, how is that tractor pulling all that"
😅😅😅
The creaking of the plastic hurt my soul.... Those stressed beams and pins....
3:04 Tractor:bye have a good day. Weight: I'll sacrifice myself
Pontifex but with LEGO. Awesome idea 😁
The lego tractor 🗿💪
this is what lego sets should be like ...
That little handle for a trailer hitch was fightin for its life
🤣🤣🤣🤣
It wasn't until the double trailer 15kg that I could see the string pulling the tractor lol. Up until then I was like how in the F is that little thing pulling all this weight😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 I'm glad you liked the video
That bridge can hold about a 100 newborns, thats mind blowing
shows very well how sturdy the old suspension bridge is and now imagine the all mighty self locking extra dosed bridge
Yes, you're right, simple doesn't mean it's bad.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Please do the same thing but with a bridge twice as long! would be interesting to see!
Unfortunately I still don't have the space but maybe at some point in the future🤷🏼♂️
bro took poly bridge into a real life game
The fact this can lift double my weight and my weight with ease is alarming and to think how bridges can break, this made of metal would be so strong
I was also surprised at how much the bridge can carry. When I was building it, I thought it would be good if the bridge could hold 50 kg, but it ended up being 100 kg.👍🏼👍🏼😀😀😀
That trailer is the real hero
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the video😀😀😀😃😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
3:02 idk why but that was funny seeing the tractor flying off the screen
🤣🤣🤣
a brigde of lego that can hold my weight is pretty impressive.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the video
Breaking the laws of physics
Awesome. That would be a nice challenge for LEGO Masters.
There actually was a bridge challenge in Lego Masters Finland. Winner bridge did hold 500 kg, no more weights were added due to safety reasons
Finally, I know where the "Golden eye" sound effect comes from!
😂😂😂
here is a problem with triangle struts, they are super rigid but if a little too much tension is applied they break instantly end the structure flies apart
Something easily fixed with a few muscles.
pov : this tractor 💪☠️
Better get RCE in here and have him do a bridge review!
*me wondering where all the 5kg plates from the gym went*
@1:45 poor little tractor, it's sacrifice won't be forgotten.
That's actually a very good engineering lesson!
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the video😃😃
Just stand with one foot on the lego bridge and keep your balance!...."K, hold my beer" 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Very nicely edited! Had some awesome laughs :)
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the video😃😃😃
The LEGO pins screaming for mercy is so sad😢
it looks worse than it is. Only 7 parts were broken😃😃😃
@RealCivilEngineer needs to see this.
After 100kgs, it was like Maverick “Just a little…. push!”
👍🏼💪
Why did you change the kg at the end of the bridge and not the start??? It will be easier
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
you brpke the world record
I almost had a heart attack from the strain due to the load on the parts and the way they crack
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Me at 3 am....do you want to see some legos bend? Me: sure why not?

Nice video bro ❤❤❤❤❤ love you ♥️❣️
This is basically poly bridge in real life. And I love it
Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you liked the video😀😀😀
The motor pulling the string was suffering all the time
Do you have the stress strain curve for your Lego pieces including the pins? Fatigue has got to set in at some point.
No, unfortunately there is no such thing for Lego parts yet. But that's not a problem, you can test the limits by experimenting😀😀😀😀
Watching this i just hear the polly bridge nusic playing, dont be an arcatecht
I think Lego masters showed everyone how to do it better without technic
Great vid, thanks!
Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad you liked the video.
3:02 bro just went flying
Leave the Lego alone!!!😂😂😂
It's far too much fun to leave alone😃😃😃
How about the strength of that tiny lever acting as the hitch pin?! Unreal!
😃😃😃
I would have stopped at 75kg. "hey, it's 75kg that's good enough for today, solid bridge"
yes, I understand you. But my goal was 100.🤣🤣🤣
