Try spraying the docks with quarter rate of Alley in the end of September when the heat is gone out of the sun we have done it and it’s a cheap option and works very well
Herdwatch not worth the cost biggest problem we had was getting them to stop taking money from our account had to get the bank to block them will never go near them again
Great video as usual. But a question from Nova Scotia why do u put then out to pasture? We find they grow a large frame, where kept to the barn ,we can have them around 1400lbs by 14 months and got to market. Fed a silage ration and grain either corn or barley
Space to move, and easier to keep cool due to the humidity in sheds in the UK/Ireland. Also a lot easier not having to mix feed every day when everyone is out chopping or baling grass@@williamwood816
I laughed way to hard when you said let the calves see the grass, More like let the calves see the docks, 7 years since last reseed, Time to reseed again phil.
It would be more interesting if we saw more of the cows and the barn than faces of people please it will improve your channel if you focused on the surrounding than people in the video thank you
Nice calves 🎉😊 I love watching your video
Could’ve done with a flash warning at the start for when those legs came out lad! 😂😂
You can't beat seeing cattle and calves when they're set free 😊 Great video again Phil . Keep up the great work!!
Always great to see the calves go out - high-tailing it all over the meadow.
The calves are looking good Phil, going to be a good year.
Great video Phil, great to see the calfs and cattle outside in the sunshine running around 😊

Seriously good calves this year Liv, fair play, ye have to be delighted with there progress
How long before they will be on our plates?
Lovely crop of docks there lad 😂 they’re a complete hur of a thing
Just wondering how come you didn't let de calf out as soon as in injection them that way you wouldn't have to mark them
Is this year late for them getting out...and will they be that but heavier as a result ?
Good stuff

more natural and generally better for thier wellbeing
How is it better for their welfare?

He lets them out because we live in Ireland. Not Canada
Does the economics of doing that return a good profit ? My question has nothing to do with what country it is.
Wonderful video love to the cows 🐄 wonderful farmers.Good luck 🍀 🐄🐄🐄🎶🎶🌍🌍☮️☮️☮️
How are you finiding the multi species? any good for grazing or just a load of BS?

The brass tags were best for shock 😂
Are they all bull calves or are some steer's
All the Hereford and Angus are steers and a few fresians as well the rest are bulls
Do a video of cleaning out the dung now ...
