    Nice vid! Wanted to know if Mackinder has plenty of international returning students as well or if it’s mostly just for home students?

      @@priyaksuppiah ohh ok, that’s nice to hear. I’ll be coming to Mackinder as a returning student this year, is it most likely I’d be allocated in a flat with all other returning students rather than 1st years?

    • @priyaksuppiah
      @priyaksuppiah  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@epicgamer6179 Yes, based on my experience and what I've been told returners don't get allocated flats with first years it should just be other returners.

      @@priyaksuppiahcool! In your experience were you placed with other returners who also applied individually to return to halls? Are there certain blocks that they allocate to returners only? Also what house in Mackinder were you in? I’ll be at Fawley house this year :)

      @@epicgamer6179 I was in Hurley at Mackinder. I find they assign you all to other returners who apply individually but I believe the blocks aren’t allocated for only returners.

    What's the badminton clubs like at reading? Can I join if I'm just an intermediate casual player. Is there like a society for it?

    • @priyaksuppiah
      @priyaksuppiah  ปีที่แล้ว

      The badminton clubs at the university are super good. The society has social playing so you can play casually once a week or there's also a team if you wan't to be more competitive.

    Seems like u moved in at the same time as freshers cause of all that traffic on campus? I thought returning students can normally arrive later than that, like when term begins..

    • @priyaksuppiah
      @priyaksuppiah  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I move in early as I like to be prepared and I help out with some freshers events so I get there early and have a week to chill before uni properly starts and it gives me time to get to know flatmates etc

      @@priyaksuppiah oh so all your flatmates also moved in during freshers even though they were returning students? As I’m gonna be returning to halls for my 2nd year so just wanted to know when a good time to move in would be

      @@define7220 some didn’t move in during freshers but a bunch did as there’s lots of events around campus then. I just find moving in early gives more time to adjust bcs every year is different.
