I have a small single car garage. Videos like this are so needed. We need this kind of inspiration and these great ideas. Hopefully, soon, I will get my LLC and insurance so I can officially begin as a real company. Seeing a home garage used this way gives me great hope that anything is possible. One day my equipment might be that nice too! I just want to look back one day to be happy with how far I came from a himble start. That is America! Happy 4th!!

Great video. That is one great looking work area. Please post videos of your detailing work and your opinions of detailing products. You seem to have cleaning products from several different companies. Please show how you chose the products you use.

You did good for your 1st video. My son is no longer in diapers & I use his old Playtex diaper pail for my towels. My wife makes fun of me for that too. Lol. You have a really nice setup. I plan on using FRP panels in my garage once we move. Doesn't make sense to do it now when I know we're moving within the next year. Anyway, looking forward to more videos sir.

Tom all you need to get started is a vacuum, apc, and some towels, that’s literally it. No need to spend 30k on a van and built out garage when you dont even have any customers yet. You can literally get started today for less than $250 let me know if you have further questions!

Very nice well organized detail workspace. Curious you mentioned using I think you said Rust stop for the brake rotors... do you have a link for that product never heard of it before?

Awesome Job !!!!! Just a suggestion......I told rick from RAD Garage about it too........ Above your mat holders you can make labels that say LF( for left front) RF (for right front) LR (for left rear) RR (for right rear). maybe you can make them from a sign shop that uses plastic.

Very nice setup bro. Nice and clean and organized and professional. I'm looking to do something like this for myself and get started with opening up my own detailing shop out of my garage. What and where did you get your black metal shelves?
A great job Max. By standard 2 car garage, how long and how wide is it? Here in Sydney Australia we don’t really have the need to pipe water into the garage as it only gets down to about 5°C in winter at night. Therefore, apart from a water outlet in the garage, yours it a great blueprint for what would work for me here. Are you also a mobile detailer? I find my clientele love the fact I can put most of my gear in my mid size SUV and do maintenance washes. The complete details with paint correction you speak of is always done in my garage so your video has come along a a great time. I hope you don’t mind me nicking a few of your ideas. I’ve already bought my four mat clamps among other things to get my reno started, but as I work full time as a ‘shop’ teacher, I have to balance the reno with my clients’ needs. Hello Scott, thanks for watching! The water source stays connected to the pressure washer but I do close the valve to stop water flowing when I am done using the washer.

You have one of the TOP Garages on YT. Who makes the brush Pegboard panels? where did you get them?
Hello KLOU615, Thank you very much for watching and your kind words! The pegboard panels were included with the Husky cabinets I purchased at the Home Depot. They were designed to be attached to the 2 cabinets but I mounted them to the wall. You could achieve very similar results by getting a sheet of pegboard at a lumber store and painting it black:)

So sorry for my late reply. Thanks so much for watching and your question. I purchased the lights from Obsessed Garage. Because of the height of the garage (12 feet) I got 6 - 6 LED bulb fixtures and they made in the US and shipped direct from the manufacturer.

How do you keep your reel from not rolling forward when not in use

Thank you very much E R!! I can work comfortably in the winter thanks to the tube heater. It warms surfaces as opposed to just heating air. As for washing cars, I have a wash mat I can use and dispose of the water/soap with my shop vac.

Hello Mike Lyon! Thank you for your kind words! I do not have a drain. Fortunately my floor has a very steep grade and water flows out the door quickly. A drain would be ideal but it is a big job and very messy to install. Maybe in the future:)
