Your dio is awesome, nice story telling and great step by step process. Rattle can sprays always attack and melt insulation foam. If you want to stop that effect, paint a coat of mod Podge on the foam before you spray paint it. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend.
Thats a crackin looking diorama, top work 👍........just a tip about the foam, give it a coat of Mod Podge or diluted PVA to seal it in before using an aerosol can, it'll act as a barrier to stop the paint melting the foam 👍....or just use acrylic paint 😉

Hi, they were very brave and strong generation. I grew up listening to the old British soldiers fighting all over the globe. Burma seemed tough.Hope u like my work, I seem to have made a few Shermans recently. Thx for your families information glad you shared it with me from my video. It nice my channel gives me those connections throughout the world and I try to give back a little knowledge from my work. Thanks Chris 🇬🇧
Not really, you could sand the surface of the chip board. I sometimes add watered down pva glue to seal aswell. I have had shrinkage on plastic bases and thinner boards but no issues on this. . Thanks for watchin and asking a question.
The only thing I’d say was wrong is your window the frame would sit right to the edge & have a sill to let water drip off & run away, the inside would get finished off to a nice finish, I used to fit windows & doors so sorry about nitpicking but it makes a difference. I noticed you changed the thickness of the actual widow frame which is more correct than the first. Otherwise awesome work, I’ve subscribed to your channel as I think the rest of your work is really really good
@@ctscalemodellinguk your welcome I’m trying to get back into it after a long lay off, so scouring you tube & the internet for all the new things going on in the model word. It’s all changed from when I started out.
Hi, thx for watching. Its quite a quick build process, off and on it took about a week of my spare time. The painting makes it, which is the quickest. Hope this helps
given the stickiness and amount of that clay its a non-issue. Any disruption or accident that violent - the clay adhesion will be the least of the problems. Sometimes practicality should be allowed to breathe.
Everything I say is not solely to criticize you, but to point the mistakes you should avoid in the future: * plastic ejection marks are visible on the hatch. * tracks on the tank are T48 type - they have rubber surface, not metal. * track marks on the ground are from different type T54. * track marks on the ground do not match the direction of tracks on the tank (opposite direction). * dry dust on tracks does not match the damp earth on ground. * soldiers have very clean shoes and clothes. * ruined walls have straight cut lines, like they were damaged with laser guns. You could improve it by cutting in staircase pattern. * you could imitate the glass on binoculars with a gloss varnish.
Very nicely put together diorama and the Sherman looks awesome! I've also started a scale modelling channel recently. You should check it out if you want..
Great job. Looks realistic
Cheers mate appreciate the comment
You make it look so easy. Turns out awesome. Thank you for the wonderful ideas.
Cheers I aim to try to produce builds that have accessible materials that all can try. Hope you like the rest of my recent dios too. 👍
That looks great! I like how the black base really makes a difference in the end result.
Cheers thanks for watching, hopefully it helps. 🙂
Great work on the base and a lovely diorama all round.

@@ctscalemodellinguk i learned that from terrain builders, like black magic craft, Hudson studio etc. These guys have some neat tricks.

Thanks George, its been one of my popular videos. Hope it shows how anyone can have a go and get good results
Great looking diorama! Wouldn't there be wood debris in / around it from the roof / floor joists?
Probably in reality there probably some tiles added to rubble
Great video man❤️
Cheers bro
looks great, one question though did you need to do anything to the base to get the clay to stick to it?
Not really, you could sand the surface of the chip board. I sometimes add watered down pva glue to seal aswell. I have had shrinkage on plastic bases and thinner boards but no issues on this. . Thanks for watchin and asking a question.
Very nice mate! Should be easier if you lay clear plastic over the clay before imprinting tracks and wheels, that way nothing sticks to them.
Nice tip, thanks. 👍
Cool super je travail de cette façon je trouve que l on plus de plaisir à faire du diorama bon boulot venant d un français 😊

Bro I just got the same kit and was going to make a very similar diorama depicting Foy!! Great stuff man, excellent work!!!
Thanks
Ooo nice job!!!
One question: How big is the base of the diorama?
Hi, its about 9” squared roughly, not too big.
Great job👍🇩🇰, is it PVA you’re using to connect the walls, or a kind of poly filler?
Hi, I used no more nails to glue the walls. It grips quite well, and is over paintable. Hope you like my work. 🙂
@@ctscalemodellinguk sure I do it’s amazing, I actually wait for your videos 👍🇩🇰

Where did You take the figurine?!
The figures are all Tamiya👍
Where do you get the measurements for the building?
Hi, I just made them up based on the size of the figure and the size of wooden base I had.
Your clay will not be permanently attached to base as you did not use glue.
Cheers thanks for tip.🙂
