can't remember the exact numbers but when I picked higher Intelligence, Charisma, Perception, and Luck while averaging Strength Endurance and Agility I got something called Silver Tounged Devil which ment I had better speech checks got better deals and sometimes could talk my way out of a fight or convinced others to fight for me there was also higher chance of getting the best in game loot 😏
No stat controls loot rolls. Luck just controls crit chance. The are perks to increase ammo and caps found, but it's a minor amount. Nothing lets you find "better" loot, just a few rounds and some pocket change.

Fun Fact: The Cutscene at the start of the game with Benny has him Breaking the 4th Wall, he says something along the lines of "-to you it must look like a 24k run of bad luck, but to tell you the truth... This Game Was Rigged From The Start. BLAM!" suggesting he's talking to the player and joking about waking up in a shallow grave with three thugs standing over you being the first thing you see in the game just seems like some bad luck and a backstory but in actuality this is how the story will always start hence "-GAME was Rigged from the start". 😂 Ok it's not to be taken super seriously, but it can be easily taken that way and makes it an extremely solid start to the Fractured Masterpiece that is New Vegas.
The continental US isn't much smaller than THE ENTIRE CONTINENT of Europe, has even more environmental biomes/regions/climates/whatever you want to call them and most states are on the same scale as "large" European countries. Just remember that next time you visit someone in NYC, Chicago, or LA and ask to go to Texas for a weekend.

The Beauty of New Vegas is that you can kill everyone and still complete the main story via Yes Man. Yes Man has a backup copy of himself on Mr. House's network and can upload his backup to new securitrons making him the only NPC that is technically immortal (he is essentially software).
In my opinion this was the last really good fallout game in the series but this one was made by obsidian the last game they made before Bethesda took it over and completely ruined everything

Look up ManyATrueNerd if you haven't watched any of his Videos before, this guy has some of the Craziest Fallout Series' on the Internet! New Vegas specifically he's done No Kill and Kill Everything Runs as well You Only Live Once Runs, among many others, he's a Criminally Underrated TH-camr.
Wild Wasteland is a very fun perk but in the grand scheme of things it's pointless. Besides the funny references and events that can occur you don't get anything important or better from it. Yes you get an alien blaster but it's not even all that strong and you can not get more ammo unless you convert it to standard fusion cells but at that point just use an energy rifle or something. Don't waste a perk slot on something that bad. Only perk that's honestly worst is In Shining Armor but that's cause it's glitches. It searches for Energy not EnergyWeapon which is the actual requirement so it literally does nothing Them's Good Eatin however is one of the best perks in the game. Great healing items, don't need to meet any requirement to obtain those items besides the perk and still sellable if you are running low on caps/tradable items. Just great all around.

Silver Tongued Devil isnt in Fallout NV, but it was in Fallout 3, you got it from passing 50 speech checks.

@@zeallust8542 Silver Tounged Devil is the challenge for passing checks in NV. Same thing as Lord death is just the challenge for killing things.
