I have one as well fitted with a nice red dot sight. Was shooting it recently at a dinner plate size steel gong at 60-70yrds, and about 40ft elevation...Rang the gong every time (color me surprised). It's actually very accurate. Love this little range toy!!

Good job! I like it, there are so many paint colors to choose from, none of these should look the same! I can't find any grip replacements for sale. It would be nice to replace that small skinny smooth grip.

@@brenenmay3222 mine has the trigger guard molded into the pistol grip like yours. I cut a piece of bike tire and put it on the pistol grip to fatten it up a bit and for better grip. Works great

I couldn't get my pak9 to hold zero. I was getting WILD groupings with this thing at 10 yards. Im talking 10MOA with some of the rounds not even hitting the target. Im not the greatest shot, but no way in hell am i that bad. My EPC9 shoots 1-2 MOA at the same distance in my hands so I know its the PAK9. I suspect its the dust cover as its a hindged dust cover that moves around and does not provide a solid mounting surface for sights. Tried zeroing it for about 45 minutes and finally got a group on center mass on a target I was aiming at. It wasent good but they were all there. Good enough for me with this thing. Beyond home defense distances i dont think i could reliably hit a target. I sont know a fix for this, with this thing being what it is we're kinds stuck with whats provided. I could try and zip tie it down and not interfere with the charging handle, but idk. Very dissapointing to say the least.
I have a question. How exactly did you remove the swivel at the butt end? I just acquired an adapter. And I don’t want to ruin it by removing it wrong. Any constructive advice is welcomed. TIA.

Sure. First things first. You're gonna have to buy an adapter that allows you to put on a buffer tube and brace. Just google "PAK 9 Brace Adapter". You'll follow a link to find a company who sells them. (Chiappa, Stormwerks, and a few others make them). Make sure you're legal. Obviously with the feds and your State. No stocks.

It's actually made by CHIAPPA (Charles Daly Chiappa 970.483 PAK-9 Adapter). These are now extremely hard to find nowadays. If you want a more readily available and better (meaning more versatile) adapter, go to Stormwerkz.com. They make better versions, including folding stock adapters. Tell them I sent you... 'and they'll give you nothing because they don't know me. ;-)

It's not that I'd recommend it or not, but it will not hurt it. I shoot any ammo that is available through the PAK9. It is funny though... 'although I might not shoot steel through an AR-9, I have no issue from an "AK-9".
Force it off. I used needle nosed pliers to squeeze the pins together from the inside (open the cover and remove the buffer to access) and pull the swivel from the receiver. from the rear of the gun.
Keep in mind you need approval and a stamp by the ATF to have the stock on it. If they catch you with it like that and no stamp, you're going to prison.
Hey there. That would be correct for a stock. You would need a ATF Stamp for an SBR. In this case, I utilized an SBA3 pistol brace. Pistol braces do not require any stamps (for the time being).
Remove the vertical grip on the front before the right person catches you. You just made a "AOW" 10 years in federal prison and $250,000.00 fine. Don't shoulder your weapon or the ATF will call it an SBR !

I went the Hogue route. And got the finger formed hand grips. It is much more comfortable in the hand now.

the adaptor uses the threaded hole for the swing swivel so he must have removed it. just unthread it, it'll be fine

You should be able to get them anywhere. It's a "Magpul Angled Fore Grip". Search for the "AFG-2"

Yeah. It's a bummer. You cannot have a vertical grip on a pistol... The best you can do, is add a 45 degree grip like a "Magpul AFG".

Of course. It is a "Magpul MOE K2" for AK-47 handgrip.
