even tho dave is in great health and still has many years with us, im glad we are recording this mans thoughts before he passes. truely one of the fathers of disc golf.
how about some kind of tracker discs in the near future, where we can have some kind of weather resistant micro chip inside the mold to find lost discs?
Dear Dave, with all the regular, OS and SS versions of similar discs, it seems that there is more overlap of disc flight patterns than ever. Do you think the disc market is getting oversaturated with models? Thanks. Wayne Coolidge.
Good insight. I'd have a couple of questions for Dave for the next episode. Last I checked, star destroyer was the most sold disc for disc golf. Why do you think that is? What disc from innova lineup has the least off-axis torque resistance and does that go hand in hand with the stability of the disc?
I want to know what is the least sold disc golf disc in the Innova and side brands that is in the current lineup of discs made. I bet it is something like the the Birdie or Polecat, Perhaps even the huge Condor due to its speciality uses. Mabey even a Millennium Disc is the lowest sold as people seem to forget it is a company and that it is an Innova side brand.
Hey Dave and SpinTV, great show! I have a question... How come the greatest graphics are on the shittiest plastic? I would love to buy star/champion discs with dx prints! Or is it just the shops in Sweden that orders the boring stuff? I say shittiest plastic because well its not durable and our course is just gravel and asphalt so they get worked! :D
I have a question have you any plans to make a beadless Rhyno Call it a Hippo or something? if you do I would buy two in R-pro about 175 grams or so. I use a different brand that makes this same type of flexible lower profile putter disc for my uphill and downhill approach/putt.
What was the reason/inspiration for making the hard champion plastic? When I started playing in 2003 the hardest was the Ce then Pro and now R-Pro plastic. The now R-Pro plastic is like the DX plastic in terms of durability, Grip is a different thing so in the beginning I just used the cheaper DX till the Champion came out, then I got the Valkyrie in champion . Now I play everything beyond a short midrange is hard plastic of Champion or Star like plastic. Then in about 2008 you made the star plastic and I knew why you made it when feeling it, Champion plastic gets hard in cold temps and Star is still grippy.
I have another question do you have a disc that flies like a Valkyrie (My Favorite Innova disc) but is faster like a 12/13 or so? If it is the Destroyer then I have two in Champion plastic and I must not be able to throw the disc quite hard enough to throw on a low Valkyrie line. I think Hands down one of the best driving discs is a Valkyrie for near beginners to pros.
I believe those are different discs, but not 100% sure. The vAviar release was a DGWT fundraiser, which explains the limited quantities. Whale is a production run mold.
moif how in the heck did they "rip them off?" They use an entirely different process, and the result is an entirely different product. They're not even remotely the same concept.
dont think dave has to worry about his swirly secrets, every other company does swirls better than Innova shit brown swirls. I know how to get shit brown just mix every color of play-do together.

cheers dave thx for everything. not sure what my favorite thing to do would be without you.
Love these episodes, hope to see more in the future.
I’m so glad this sport exists, I’ve only played for a year, but this is one of the most enjoyable things ive tried
LOVE these spin TV keep e'm coming
4:34 WHAT? Dave's still got it
That had to be one take it is very hard to do that same shot again.
I just love hearing Dave talk about the old game and how discs fly.
Thanks for the great video once again!
Dave is the man! No BS with this guy.
Awesome video I really enjoyed it!
I've waited so long for this
Sorry for the delay, hope you enjoy! :)
I did enjoy!!!

I second the question, especially if you add in plastic types too now.
Really like these episodes, think we could get Dave to do an In The Bag?
I'll put this into the Season 2 plan :)
Also, still disappointed Jamie Thomas #NippleGate never happened on livestream this year
+J K, I second this.
Note: Also in the thumbtrac family: The Animal, and I'm not sure if the original Birdie was mentioned or not in that 19th-20th minute segment.
Love these videos.

Be sure to tune in for Season 2, we'll put out a call for questions probably in January, so keep us in your social media rotation :)
Magistro star destroyer is most sold because most pros use it.

+Derek Dunn and Magistro I use the Champion Destroyers 170 grams. I use Champion because the durability is a bit better.
ill guess its the monarch or the buzz.

I'm looking to get a Yeti Pro Aviar. What's the difference between a 3X, 4X, and 5X Yeti?

Follow up: what happens to the crappy discs you know you made before you retooled?
I would assume the crappy disc plastic gets recycled.
great video. whats up with paul?
woodn't it dpnd on the left side,
or the right side?
Is the Whale the current name for the "V Aviar" that was floating around for a while?
I believe those are different discs, but not 100% sure. The vAviar release was a DGWT fundraiser, which explains the limited quantities. Whale is a production run mold.
how do we submit questions to Dave?
Stay tuned to our social media outlets, we'll put out a call for questions probably in January as we plan Season 2.
I have a question - why did you rip off Odyssey and MVP for the overmold?
Love double D, but I feel like you can't deny that.
moif how in the heck did they "rip them off?" They use an entirely different process, and the result is an entirely different product. They're not even remotely the same concept.
ever hear of AMF Voit?
The Bevel edged discs that MVP and Odyssey make are "rip-offs" of Dave's creations, are they not?
I love how you tried to take your hostile question and soften it with a "don't worry everyone, I love Dave". Troll...
+Matt Snyder
I agree, if anything Innova ripped off was the Discraft Big molds or Discraft ripped off Innova depending whose discs came out first.
It goes good with bear, which im not advocating to use, but im not opposed to it. Lolololol
Bring back the spider
GOLD
vtech huh, sounds like moving the meat to the rim is awfully like gyro overmolds concepts
Which DX discs are the most DEAD straight.
D. O'H in my opinion the classic aviar if you throw it soft to medium speed

And okay am I the only one who finds this guy to be an egomaniac who doesn't seem to care about the team behind him?
2 months between videos huh? That is not innovative.
