I struggled with the party passing castle wittgestein on the road to Grissenwald. The players do insist on exploring the "grim looking castle with dead bodies around it". I know it's ment to only be forboding, but i strongly recomend GMs to either tone it down or pass the area in "storymode"
An amazing video. Sooooo helpful! I am running TEW for my group and I am using your videos to gather ideas. Thank you! I am 100% looking forward for your next episode. I hope you will do the entire campaign.
Well done guide on a classic campaign I hope to present to a group of players someday. Looking forward to viewing the whole series as a preparation to running the epic campaign. Thanks.😎👍
Hell yeah baby! I was afraid you gave up. I love your stuff and I am so glad you are back! Great guide! Hope you feel better soon. Nurgle ducks indeed.
I've just finished Enemy in Shadows and am about to start DotR with my group, but I'm still struggling on how I'll get my players to head to Grissenwald from Altdorf. They definitely found Etelka's letter in Bogenhafen (I even made another one from her warning Teugen about the Purple Hand) but the adventure just assumes the character will head to grissenwald
Super helpful....starting death on the reik next week with my group. Your videos are a great resource! One question: where would I find the map of the empire which you used in the video..? The waterways can be seen much better than on the maps of the rulebook. Thanks and greetings, Michael
What a great video again. Thanks a lot for this. It get's me started into the book much better. I start Death on the Reik in 2 weeks. btw: I didn't manage to get to your discord server, but I sent you a friend request on discord (Niceyard). Hope to see you there.
as a German i totally had to laugh hard at the name DAGMAR von Wittgenstein (Dagmar = female name) but the book makes him a man xD which i really have to change when i play this Edit: also fun fact: in the signal tower floor there is a mention of a trap door were the ghoul snatches his victims. BUT on the Map no trapdoor is visible nor where the trapdoor opens on the room below (i guess in area B)
@@RpgLoremaster or they didn't know ... but on the other hand most name jokes are fitting. Like the one Judge is called RICHTER (judge) or some village names (Diesdorf lit. means THIS village)
So glad you got around to do it :)! Planning to start with the campaign after new year.
Thanks a lot man! The rest will come sooner!
Best way to start the day!
Glad you are back dude. I love these guides!
Thanks a lot man really appreciate it. Good to be back.

You are so welcome!
These have been very helpful in deciding if i should run this campaign or not.
Really love these guides, hoping you might do Power Behind the Throne soon :)
Great review! I appreciate you pointing me to Spires of Altdorf for some expanded hooks. It's great to have some extra details to review.

I am guilty of not being very active in the server I promise to change that soon.
Thank you for the review. Can you explain why the PC have to go to Grissenwald? I didn't understand.
Thats where Etelka Herzen sent her letters from.

Hah I didn't know that. I had read that the writers of the original story used many German words as Easter eggs in it that must be one of those!

I thought Nurgle Plague claimed your soul
It came soooo close....soooooo close :P
