I switched from Wi-Fi last month to wired to see how "much better" it would be and my lowest ping clocks in at 85ms, and it jumps up during matches, even with nothing extra connected to my service. It sucks but sometimes I feel its the MK server in general.
LOSTyGIRL wifi can be worse depending on where you live and your service provider. wired doesn’t completely take out the chance of lag, it just significantly lowers it, and that’s only if you got blessed with a area that has good internet.

LOSTyGIRL losty i’m just gonna say what everyone else was thinking , almost any mistake you do is immediately blamed on wifi(rightfully so, cause a lot of the times it is actually lag) but a lot of the times it’s literally just you making mistakes and coping to wifi as a excuse. me supposedly being on wifi (i’m not) doesn’t change the fact that wired doesn’t completely exempt lag from your game, wired connections still receive lag, wired’s are less likely to lag but lag will still be present.
LOSTyGIRL and i’m positively sure you know most people can’t afford stellar wired/non wired connection wifi, and people who live in highly populated cities regardless of wired or not, get extremely bad lag because of how many people are in the area. again there are factors that we can’t control when it comes to lag.

Wifi is worse. I played a lot vs usa people who were wited and that went pretty well. It gets worse if they are in the west coast but still ok
