    I was working with a colleague near the building and 2 people came out of the building and treated us with suspicion. They checked our ID and sent us on our way and said anything we’re doing is unimportant and we should leave. I’ve been past since and there’s always blacked out cars going in and out.
    There’s also no signage on the building or on Google maps saying what it is.

    I fitted and repaired some aircraft tyres for the planes that were used during the filming of Memphis Belle. Funniest aircraft tyre situation though was fitting a Spitfire tyre which states not to exceed 600mph, to a farm trailer. It was built utilising bits left over from the war. Aircraft tyres are retreaded and the casings can be used several times.

    That's just a few minutes from my house, that site was the main site for Dunlop tyres in the day but it was all moved abroad, the big building on the side was also part of the site. Did you go past the jaguar factory which is just down the road from there? Did you also see spitfire island as they were built on the jaguar site during world war two and behind the island was the runway which is now a housing estate.

    Hmm, the road branching off of A47 / Fort Parkway containing their entrance does look to be private, according to FindMyStreet. However, it's ambiguous, as the shared use footway / cycle lane extends some distance into it, before being (sort of) directed to cross it back onto Fort Parkway. I wouldn't be sure on that one.
    What I am sure about is that a lot of these security goons don't want to be filmed because they don't want their DWP claims handler to find out that they're not actually cripples with PTSD.

      @darrylrichardson7940 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jamieaustin6403 So you dont have any garages with brand new cars on forecourts waiting to be sold then. Over here in England there were vast areas where, the likes of Ford/Vauxhall/Renault stored their brand new vans that were waiting to be sold. I know as I worked for over 20 years making seats for all of their vans and often did trips to Ford Southampton, and Vauxhall/Renault in Luton. They had thousands of vans lined up on disused airfields too. Now most of the cars at Toyota Derby are stored at Toton sidings near me in Nottinghamshire where 3 times a week they are taken to France and the Czech Republic by train. And a similar thing now happens with Ford Europe when the export their vehicles from the continent and deliver them to Garston near Manchester.
