I repainted a 1964 spyder convertible many years back. They have some very interesting body lines and shape. Lots of curves to sand. That one looks good.
My parents had a yellow 64 Monza 4 speed convertible from new, I think it made it through a decade or so of Wisconsin winters before the now crusty & leaking fumes remainder of it (though still running fine!) was parked out next to the garden by my Dad, where I used to hop in periodically as a kid & play "drive" it, always with the fine bouquet of the mouse nest in the glovebox 😁 if they'd had Volvo-level metal I might still be driving it! I still love Corvairs, I also had a brown 63 coupe 4 speed for a time as a daily, in the 90's one Wisconsin winter, other than the floorboard hole the rest of it still pretty solid 😆 & really, a hella good snow car!

Yeah Jon they are a unique body style! Was yours white?
@@handydand it was a dark blue, the owner thought it was supposed to be Livy blue but we checked the paint code and went back original

Thank you for sharing! Obviously these are special cars that bring back fond memories; thanks for watching!
