Can you leave the image of the outfit on the screen longer? As soon as I get to look at it, you remove it too soon. You and your outfits & styling tips are GORGEOUS. THANK YOU!!!
Some of the other outfits looked even more chic, but I like the idea of turning a dress into a top best. I cut off a green raw silk dress with a front ruffle a couple of years ago, leaving (I thought) plenty of length to tuck in. But no, when the weight of the dress came off, the top sprang upwards, and though will tuck into a high waist, it constantly comes untucked from the horrible low/mid waists, that fortunately, are now going out of fashion. Always leave much more length than you expect if cutting a knitted fabric dress...
I love wearing a scarf as a necklace! I have a silk scarf my mother bought for me in Italy. I always feel special when I wear it ❤ and I love wearing red shoes with a black and white striped dress I have. I always feel so French!
Oo-la-la, Frederique! I'm 81 yrs. old but love love love fashion. This gave me lots of ideas...good to get creative! I'm tiny but have found that rolling up my pant legs to just above the combat boot or converse sneaker looks really chic and up to the minute. The point is to concentrate on showing off the shoe. It really elevates a look for me! You are my favorite utube personality,, Frederiique. Keep making such quality videos. BTW, I also like to layer a white or black blouse under jumpsuits and leave the buttons above the waist unbuttoned. Cheers!
@@ms.frederique 🤍 Yes, love your ideas on how to elevate a look. Your tips take things from 🕊️basic to brilliant🦚! 🤍Loved all your looks, esp. the two that included a hat. Have a couple of felt hats (black + navy) like your camel colored one in hatboxes.🧢Also accumulated a massive collection of cute caps that get minimal use. Appreciate your inspiration to pull them out. They certainly bring a dash of fun flair to a bland, but classic neutral outfit. Q❓Any thoughts on how to Winterize or wear a silky, satin camisole with spaghetti straps? Inherited a huge collection of camisoles from my mum that have never been worn😔. Most are in bright, jewel tone, or pastel colors 🎨, while I tend to stick to monochromatic palette too (i.e., black, navy, gray, olive green, brown & white). 😖Also inherited larger breasts. Avoid strapless bras, think it looks tacky showing bra straps under a camisole, & a topper layer is not always an 🥵option. Should I turn them into an infinity scarf? They're so feminine & fine, but way out of my comfort zone. Merci beaucoup. 💚 Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
I love mixing textures, that’s my go to. For my sisters wedding I am wearing a silk blouse and a smart camel coloured wool skirt. My favourite outfit is the beige trousers with the red belt for a pop ❤️
The little touches really make a difference to a neutral outfit! I have silk pocket squares that were my fathers. I tie those around my handbags. They look great and remind me of him❤️
I love your tips they're so simple! I took inspiration from the one about using the short dress as a top and tying a knot in front. I've lost a lot of weight and have tops that are 3 sizes too big, but I still want to keep wearing them for as long as possible as I keep losing weight. I tried tying the bottom of the shirt into a knot and it totally looks cute and gives shape to my waist! Genius!
Hi Frederique, thanks for another top video. The great thing is, that your videos are for all women. Your ideas are helpful for all of us that follow you. And it is never a question of money👍
This was just what I needed! I used to wear scarves all the time but got out of the habit. I love the classic contrast of a white T with jeans and a dark blazer, in theory. But I dont look good in white. But this video reminded me that by adding a bright scarf in place of a necklace, I can keep the contrast while breaking the white around my face. This opens up all kinds of possibilities for me! Thank you :)
I love wearing scarves in my better colors, too. For me, I need to lighten up black and most dark colors. Darks aren’t good colors on me, but it’s hard to not wear any.
I wear colurfu scarves with all black outfits..whether they be a black dress or black top and black jeans/trousers. A pop of colour lifts the outfit sooo much. I do get complimented on it as well 🥰
In cooler weather I love wearing scarves. One of my favourite looks is monochrome charcoal with an orange or turquoise scarf. I think I may have more scarves that a French woman 😂. In summer here in Sydney it's often too hot for a scarf but at least half the year I can make any monochrome outfit look different so I'm not bored with it.
Thanks for pairing some of your lovely outfits with flat shoes. This is very encouraging to those of us with foot issues who can't wear heels. By the way, that red belt with the neutral pant and top was simply genius!
I think I’m going to wear mine (black) with a new black and white polo-collar sweater over it this autumn. I also have a LilySilk navy one in a different style. Silk blouses or thin knits under them work great, too.🙂
Love you! Thank you for sharing your insights-I cannot overstate how grateful I am to you! Hi Frédérique! What I love about you is your feminine elegance and creative flair. I am a woman of a certain age and have rediscovered joy in self care and adornment…LOVE THE RED BELT WITH NEUTRALS! Thank you for giving us inspiration!
OMG I loved all these looks especially the white outfit with the camel coat and booties! Beautiful ideas - oh and also loved the button down dress worn as a jacket - what a beautiful idea - especially for warm climates in the evening when u need a light jacket - that looks amazing!!!
As a petite curvy woman, I love how you tied that long beautiful blouse! So many pretty things are too long for me so I will try this technique! Thank you Frédérique!
Love these outfit ideas. My favorite to wear is a white blouse, so any new ways to make it feel more exciting are awesome. I really like the black and white print of that dress and would love to find it in a shirt. Thanks for all the super styling tips.
Just love it, thank you for backing me up on using the corporate now for a new lifestyle. Corporate shirts tied with white shorts or a boho beach skirt. Having moved from urban SF design to retired FL I just can't wear flowered shirts and capris and a visor. More loose linen sand colored pant or olive cargo shorts. I wear it with a white linen kaftan shirt or just a white t-shirt tied in a knot. Sometimes I wear a thin Joes Crabshack ts. Wheat cowboy hat and funky shades. I hope you approve.
Wow, I love the satin dress as a skirt with the sweater. Absolutely stunning outfit 🤩 I've always been a huge fan of wearing a skirt over a dress to change the length or to turn it into a peplum style. I'll have to try your version by pairing a dress with a different top!

Nice video. I learned some time ago that for a more elegant touch and also if you are not so young, it is always better to use jeans a little loose at the ankle, that immediately changes the look of stretched jeans. I always use them that way and for me it's perfect ! Thanks !
I really liked the idea of transforming a too short dress into a top with a knot at the front. Also like the pop of color red with neutrals. Amazing tips, thanks! I have to tell you I lived in France for a year in 1974, and i went over there with an outfit of a pair of jeans with an American football jersey! It was so NOT French! The family I lived with bought me a striped t-shirt to wear. Also all of my skirts were mini skirts, and the French women wore long skirts in 1974! I enjoy your channel.
I like the idea of reusing that short dress and making it work as a top...all the ideas you have are very good to bring that little extra to your look! Bravo!
The most awesome of all in all your videos is the twinkle in your eyes. You exude a joyful heart, and this is the most delightful of all about your videos 🤩
I also wear short tops on dresses or short button down blouses over my dresses instead of a cardigan or jacket in summer...but love these type of videos. Please keep up the good work 🥰
Love the great ideas. I love you Frederique. I feel so inspired by your beautiful French style. I am Latina in California and I love your recommendations.
Interesting fashion tips, I loved most of your ideas. I just started wearing skinny jeans, but have to be mindful of my big bottom. Which can look amazing with the right top and shoes. Thanks for the helpful hints!
I have a fabulous out-of-date wardrobe. Your inspiring tips will make it a fabulous up-to-date wardrobe. Your video is priceless to me! Thanks so very much.
I work in the long day care childcare industry. I have started using my approximately 40 scarves to cover my lanyard. It means I can select one in the morning to reflect how I feel that day. Fridays is always the rainbow shoes and a scarf to match. Thanks for all the tips. Love them.
Bonjour, ma belle Frederique. I love this video! My favourite transformation outfits that you created are: #4 with the silk dress and #7 with the neutrals. Tres chic!
I am so happy I found you! Your style is so much like my style. This was a great video to add the special something to a ho-hum outfit. 😊 I love your accent and your love of life.
Thanks Frederique for such glamorous ldeas. i loved the printed zara shirt look more. I have lots of short shirt dresses & with this video no more aches on how to wear them. Looking forward to more of such content🌹
Please make a video about summer bright colors, floral prints and also, I would love to learn about hand made/ crochet items like bags and tops. Thanks, you are the best!!!
I wore the same color nailpolish and lipstick duo today. I do also like showing off a nice watch. The size of the watch face and band can vary, but if a bigger face, then it must be in comparision with my petite wrist. That's where I will incorporate Proportion of my accessory to the size of 'me'.
Really enjoyed all these tips. I would also say a short dress can be used as a tunic over stretch pants. The cute print dress you have can be used over another dress too.
Fantastic ideas Frederique ! They had to come from a French lady, no doubt. You must be the queen of style where you live !. . . .Never thought of the cap but I must say you look very interesting !. . . the colour breaking neutrals looks very smart and it is unbeatable !. . . Congatulations !. . .
I bought several colors of Converse copies at Carrefour this year and wear them with long tunics in a funky african print, neutral leggings and the sneakers that correspond for a fresh look for my age group 50+
A winning combo for a black satin slip dress is a sateen cropped dressy jacket or one with a few sequins or bugle beads or seed pearls for special events. A standout for any occasion.
Enjoy this video. Love your styling ideas. I had not even thought to do many of the things you have shown us in this one. Thank you so much. Oh and I think the very first one was my favorite!

Bravo!
merci more to come! xxxx
The most awesome of all in all your videos is the twinkle in your eyes. You exude a joyful heart, and this is the most delightful of all about your videos 🤩
Thank you so much 😀
Hello gorgeous 🌹💟! Great fashion ideas. Thank you.❤️🍂❤️🍁
Thank you! 🤗
I also wear short tops on dresses or short button down blouses over my dresses instead of a cardigan or jacket in summer...but love these type of videos. Please keep up the good work 🥰
Yes, I will my love xx 💗

Love the red belt. It's amazing how it changes an outfit. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
In the winter months I switch to my red bag and I forgot my scarf on the other bag thank you for the reminder.

Interesting fashion tips, I loved most of your ideas. I just started wearing skinny jeans, but have to be mindful of my big bottom. Which can look amazing with the right top and shoes. Thanks for the helpful hints!
Oh! You are looking georgeous in all styls! And a scarf is allways "classy" to pimp the look!!!👍or wear a tie with the white blouse!!!??👔👕
thank you so much for your comment, happy you love it xxxx
I have a fabulous out-of-date wardrobe. Your inspiring tips will make it a fabulous up-to-date wardrobe. Your video is priceless to me! Thanks so very much.
You are so welcome!
I work in the long day care childcare industry. I have started using my approximately 40 scarves to cover my lanyard. It means I can select one in the morning to reflect how I feel that day. Fridays is always the rainbow shoes and a scarf to match. Thanks for all the tips. Love them.
you are so welcome xxxx
Bonjour, ma belle Frederique. I love this video! My favourite transformation outfits that you created are: #4 with the silk dress and #7 with the neutrals. Tres chic!

Please make a video about summer bright colors, floral prints and also, I would love to learn about hand made/ crochet items like bags and tops. Thanks, you are the best!!!

I'm inspired to change things up a bit
thank you so much lovely take care xxx 😘
Oh, I thought you were french. I love all the same stuff, and you added some french flavor to my American life. Love.
I wore the same color nailpolish and lipstick duo today. I do also like showing off a nice watch. The size of the watch face and band can vary, but if a bigger face, then it must be in comparision with my petite wrist. That's where I will incorporate Proportion of my accessory to the size of 'me'.

Love the comparison of how to wear or not to wear clothes Keep on sharing your ideas and looks
Thank you! Will do!

Really enjoyed all these tips. I would also say a short dress can be used as a tunic over stretch pants. The cute print dress you have can be used over another dress too.
perfect thank you x
Gorgeous!!! I can’t wait to try these tips !!!!

Thank you lovely, have a fabulous day xxx
Love your videos! Best tip for me today was the printed “corporate” dress over the monochromatic black look within 😍
Enjoy this video. Love your styling ideas. I had not even thought to do many of the things you have shown us in this one. Thank you so much. Oh and I think the very first one was my favorite!
