This song is dedicated to the loving memory of Dr. Christopher (Chirs) Gantela for his committed service to the Christian community spanning over 50 years in the US and in Canada as well as in few other nations. He was a pioneer in initiating fellowship among the Indian families in Houston (late 1980s) that became the current Telugu Christian Fellowship (early 1990s) for which he served as its founding President. He initiated and organized the Texas Christian Family Conference (CFC) in Houston in 1999 and introduced the idea of the Theme Songs for CFCs, because of which, all these Theme Songs were prepared and presented every year for the past 25 years by the Houston team across the state and used by many around the nations. When Dr. Gantela was called to Glory in 2021, the current theme song “Prabhu Raaka” (Come, Lord Jesus) based on Revelation 22:20 for CFC-2022 held in Austin, TX is being dedicated to his loving memory and to the legacy of his pioneering work among Christian Families in Texas. We praise God for the Gantelas who continue to serve - Sis. Sarojini (spouse), Mr. Rajiv and Dr. Swaroop (children). Dr. Gantela is an accomplished musician with a career in booming oil industry for over five decades. After his retirement, he pursued and completed his doctorate degree as the oldest University of Houston student at the age of 78 proving that - “a persistent servant of God will never quit.”
