for libby, once you get the book, download it, put your kindle on airplane mode and return it so someone else gets it! then you can have that book past the allowed days.

The first paperwhite with 300 ppi and the last without flush screen, I was very lucky to buy it new, still my only ereader, I jailbroke it too

I have this exact model that I bought new.. your storage doesn’t matter because all you have to do is download what you want to read or think you’ll read and keep everything else in the kindle cloud. You’ll never run out of space

I've been using my 7th generation since 2018. You're right, 7th generation came out in 2015. I just decided to upgrade to 11th gen even tho my 7th gen is still working great. I will keep it for a backup.

I also bought my first Kindle second hand! I got the most recent base Kindle off eBay for 56 dollars. All it had was some little scuffs on the front and back, but nothing my decal didn't cover. It also came ad-free 🤩 I wanted to get back into reading and didn't want to pay full price for a device I wasn't sure I was going to use consistently.
For books:
Faeries and some spice (A Court of Thorns and Roses Series)
Thriller: The Housemaid (I loved it), All the Lies
Horror: Monstrilio
I got the 6th gen paperwhite and it still works perfect. I just download books off library genesis and amazon has a send to kindle option on their website
also, if you want a certain book for freesies, you MIGHT be able to find the epud or az3w file and upload it into your kindle via a computer with calibre and BAM, you MIGHT have the whole book on your kindle. this MIGHT work but i wouldn't know because i dont condone file sharing. although, if you really want to support the author, of course you can still buy it. either paper back or via kindle unlimited. enjoy!

Ive got a kindle keyboard which is the 3rd gen it has 4 gig and I have installed 100 books. It barely accumulate any storage

Look in the options, something like turn off page refresh and it should stop the glitch you’re seeing
I literally bought a 2012 kindle last month because I wasn’t sure if I’d want one. It was $15 on Facebook marketplace and a great way to decide if I liked reading on it.
Although yours has the main feature I was struggling to survive without: brightness
That and the fact that mine was so old I couldn’t find a case for it and I’m clumsy 😂

@@BehindTheSkyI ended up getting a paper white for valentines, I got it for a trip to read on the plane abs the lack of brightness makes it a brick on a plane but It was really great as a trial and I almost got a 2018 one until the new one went on sale bc I didn’t need a ton of features
@@Flubberduckie I haven’t read hooked yet, I think I just have it downloaded I haven’t really looked into yet but I hope I like it! And that’s good! I think I’m gonna eventually want to get one of the newer ones but only if it on sale 😂

I can do a review! I loved verity definitely recommend if you like thrillers! And im not sure, if it’s an ad in the beginning maybe that just something TH-cam put. My channel is too small for me to add ads into my videos! ❤️❤️

she said mercari, but i think any second hand place would be good like etsy and ebay, she said the mercari seller refurbished them though. theres also unclaimed baggage which has discounted kindles
Mercari! If you do purchase off eBay just make sure to read the reviews!❤️ also check Facebook marketplace! I even heard some people have found used ones at the thrift store! :)
