Absolute amazing video. Subs!
How does it compare to Sado Island? Also I stayed with Erina-san!
Wow awesome! Iya is more secluded and smaller than Sado. And there are no restaurants open for dinner, so you have to dine at your hotel

What time of year did you go? Would you recommend renting a car? Thx
I went in the beginning of Sept. Will absolutely recommend renting a car
@@shawneydepp Do you think it'll be too cold for rafting & the mountain hike in April?

Thanks! Yes I rented a car from Tokushima city (nippon rent a car). Ice cream place is near the oku iya double vine bridge.
@@shawneydepp I appreciate the info!! Stay blessed
Can't believe I had a brief moment of drowning 💀
woo i went last month to find tsumiki san, the mother of scarecrows who created all 350 scarecrows in the village haha.. did an interview video on her... really interesting story
Wow. That’s super cool! Watched it, great interview
@@shawneydepp i was very afraid actually cos i went solo.. the drive there is so windy and scary don't u think so??
You really look like you are drowning.....holding on to each other is pretty dangerous....but i guess its easy for the guide to manage
Yeah tbh it did feel like it. Desperately trying to gasp for air for that brief moment. Wouldn’t recommend to ever float through the rapids like that
