I have lived and died to know that all we love we leave behind These undertakings take us far from familiar and comfortable things How much can one heart bear before it tears at the seams? Showed these dudes to my older brother a few weeks back, he’s an old school post hardcore fan, not a huge fan of many newer heavy bands says they all sound relatively alike with nothing to stand apart form the next and he absolutely loved these dudes! He and I have been counting down the days for this record to drop! Seriously blown away with this band myself. Massive fan of Architects and bands alike, this is one of the most well rounded and written albums I’ve heard in a long long time! Good job dudes keep kicking ass!!!
ALBUM OF THE YEAR ALREADY legit though these guys are a fresh breath of air, and great lyricism and riffs all the way through cant wait to see them live again🤘🤘
I'd agree with you... however if you've never heard of Loathe, I'd check out the album they dropped a couple weeks ago: "I Let it in and it Took Everything". I think their album may give Polaris some fits. However I would say this is a close second.
@@aaronrisch6334 I'll be honest I've only listened to maybe 2 loathe songs but its bc I dont really prefer their sound not saying it's not a good sound I just dont jam to em... I've been following polaris since they were teenagers in Sydney only playing in small festivals over seas and they've come A LONG way I do think they've softened a bit but that's to be expected in the metalcore age we love in now
This sounds like a significantly heavier Alter Bridge, even the solo sounds like something Myles/Tremonti would play, I love it! (To those who know AB, I'm sure most would agree haha)
Dude I immediately thought of Tremonti as soon as that solo kicked in. Between the breakdown and the solo this song has been 100% my favorite song in YEARS
Upon first listen, this was my favorite song from the album. The Indian-sounding riffs and hard rock guitar solo make this a standout song. That chorus sounds like a Hoobastank chorus, which takes me back! I really love this song!
It’s funny, I’ve seen so many people say Hoobastank and I bet that really pisses the butt hurt fuckers off. The ones that don’t have an open mind enough to enjoy music from the 80’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s. I thought the first 2 Hoobastank albums were very good. The song same direction sounds like it has a big influence in the chorus of this song
Its sharptones "trick up their sleeve" . They use familiar sounds from older popular songs and alter them just slightly creating a nostalgic feel to new songs. It's a pattern I hear in most of my favorite Bands that are with sharptone. I personally think it lacks creativity but it seems to be working for them with the quality they have been helping to put out.
Vince should check this out, i just put this track on top of a wwe highlight video from these days AND LOOKED AWESOME, just like the old days, do the same thing!

Ever since hearing their record 2 years ago, I fucking knew they would blast off. They are slaying it with this album.
Song has such a solid blend of actual heavy shit, mixed with nu metal vibes that we all remember.

Old school fan like Silverstein and older? Just curious.
Be sure to show him Bad Omens too if he's not aware of them already. They meld a lot of sounds together and they're so good!
Jason LovesABR yeah man! Silverstein, Thrice, Finch, Funeral For a Friend, Saosin etc etc.
You and your bro fan(s) of Northlane?? I recommend highly
BanielDrown I’m a massive Northlane fan! Since Discoveries. I’ll be honest Alien was a let down but that’s just me personally haha
@2:47 Did not disappoint! Love the riffs these Aussie’s come up with!
Right it feels so original and fresh.
Erra vibes for sure. I love Polaris so much... damn
Definitely has some elements from neon
Really hoping to see a tour with them together. Imagine Polaris, Erra and Wage War on tour together
@@Tonybob_Skinnyjeans Would be as good as the Erra, Northlane, Crystal Lake, and Currents tour
@@camdenwyeth316 A dream tour for me would be Killswitch Engage/Silent Planet/Knocked Loose/Polaris. Yeah, I like oddball lineups more lol.
Literally came here to check if I was the only one haha
You guys outdid yourself with this one. Something about the chorus feels very nostalgic but I can't pinpoint it. Keep it up fellas!
Same!
It's got a 90s rock sound or something
I don’t know why but when I hear it I think of the old Spyro games...
Reminds me of The Veer Union or Sevendust
I thought this was an old 2000s song too
Love you guys from America! Fellow drummer and metal head, thanks for the awesome music.
Definitely one of the best heavy rock/metal tracks of 2020!
My favorite song on the album... I think. So many bangers.
Best song on the album for me
What an earworm, absolutely love it
Never disappoint

i was trying to think why this song reminds me of something, now I know why. I agree.
100% my thoughts the moment that was solo ripped out

this is maybe why its one of my fav songs. grew up on alter brigde.
@@dgoo8294 Same here - This one really stood out lol
The solo is simple but SLAPS
that breakdown though damnnnn! the lads never disappoint
Song is sick!!! Loved the intro and solo was on point!
hell yeah! favorite song of the album
One word for this

"perfection"
My fav song...ummm all of them \m/🔥🔥🔥
Favourite new metal song in 2020 so far!
Hell yeah tambourine-core
I love the way Jamie says "Lend me your ear, i'll tell you what you need to know." Best bit!

Daaaam!! That pig squeal in the solo towards the end just... wow. Probably my favourite song off this album because of that.
This song makes doing push-ups easy. Love it.
This album is insane 🤘

@sharptone. Smart move signing this band.
Discovered this song via Spotify while just getting ready for another day!!!

Most underrated song of the year
Essa música merece clipe.

What about Invent Animate?
Holy shit
I like ya cut g.
I love this intro
The chorus reminds me of Hoobastank
It 100% does lol
Omg
INCUBUS
Thought the same. Kind of a Nu metal vibe, and the end sounded like an Alter Bridge riff 😂
Dude, I thought the same :D
Instrumental has massive Northlane Node vibes
Hats off boys !
The future is in good hands ... great fucking choon ! 👍🏼
You boys better get back up here to cairns for another ridiculously amazing show asap 🤞😁
i need polaris, bad omens and wage war to be in one tour
this song reminds me of august burn red's single midnight and i'm not sure why
Easily one of my favorite abr songs
Midnight’s oddly happy and goofy sounding. So is this. I prefer this tho
The ending riff is quite similar
THIS FUCKING BAND!!!
Has a little post grunge to it
Mark Tremonti vibes on that solo?!?!?! Fucking nailed it lads!
The chorus remind me incubus for some reason

Christian metal bands, these guys aren’t a Christian metal band. I think your confusing them with silent planet
The Chorus has some weird "The Offspring" vibe

The chorus reminds me of ERRA
Breaking Polaris?
From 0:12 it deminds me like a riff ripped off from limp bizkit song... but don't know which one. :O But it is really similar.
