I feel like a lot of players underestimate Luma’s strength, and think that it’s just a decoration for Rosalina, but Luma is really strong, so it comes as a shook to the enemy that Luna killed them lol
I love rosalina and luma but what I don't understand is why nintendo decided to give luma the ability to fall off the edge and die 😫 like why can't she just stick by rosalinas yes still awfull but it just seems like them dieing together would seem less heartbreaking then luma dieing alone. 💔😢
It could still be possible to be good with Rosalina and Luma without the flashy fancy tricks. But with enough practice, it gets easier to attack cancel. I was motivated by the fact that it looks cool to desync luma :P
I usually have a hard time facing Pikachu, Pichu, or Joker. Fast aggressive characters for the most part. Edit: Also short characters just cause Rosa is so tall.

I did and it kept turning into either a forward tilt or up tilt

Desyncing Luma. Which usually happens with attack cancels. Requires a lot of practice to do it consistently!
