- Being smuggled from France to Britain by boat could earn you a one-way ticket to Rwanda.
That's the British government's message to undocumented migrants making the dangerous voyage across the English Channel.
The Prime Minister says action is needed to stop what he calls 'vile people smugglers'.
Rights groups compare it to Australia's 'offshore processing' policy, which they've condemned as cruel and inhumane.
So will Britain's agreement work?

Those seeking asylum are economic migrants. Decades ago, Europe was a favorite place for many such migrants because the system was made it easy for such migrants.
Some statistics said 63% coming during this period are valid asylum seekers.
This migrants problem is because 25 countries 13 in Africa have sanctions. Sanctions are showing to be a human rights violation

The UNHCR is a bad joke. The protocol for refugees is that they are supposed to identify themselves and seek asylum in the first signatory nation they enter, not sneak into a country, pass through other signatory countries, and sneak into a final country where, when caught, seek asylum.

Yeah it was a horrid 10 years for the asylum seekers in Australia. The only good that came of it was stopping the people smugglers. Arrested and jailed some. Work was also done in shri lanka to educate the people not to believe the smugglers. So many people drowned!!

Secondly, the majority of asylum seekers pass through many safe countries in order to get to the U.K, why didn’t they apply for asylum there? Thirdly the U.K while sympathetic to asylum seekers cannot take everyone, only people who are under or face threats of persecution.
