Female Ukraine soldier rescues comrade after Russian drones leads to ambush

- Ukrainian troops survived a Russian ambush and rescued a wounded comrade near Bakhmut. National guard soldiers were moving between positions near the village of Klishkiivka. But they suddenly stopped after spotting what they thought were Russians nearby. A drone skims low overhead and spots them, at which point the Russians open fire. What follows is an intense gun battle between the two sides as they try to wipe the other out. The Ukrainians use machine guns and grenade launchers to drive the Russians away. They are then able to advance to a nearby position and evacuate their wounded. Footage shows how a soldier with a wounded arm is rescued while artillery falls nearby. He is taken to another foxhole where troops, including a female soldier, take him in. Ukraine has recently captured part of Klishchiivka after weeks of heavy fighting. The settlement is located on key high ground to the south of Bakhmut. Taking it means Ukrainian artillery guns are within range of the city and that will make life extremely uncomfortable for the Russian occupiers.

“Rescue” by the female is a very big stretch. It’s obviously a aid station behind the frontlines. Simply change it to a more accurate description, female medic does treats wounded. That’s her job and fair play to her. No need to over sensationalise it.

You have no idea what a "rescue" means. A rescue means 2-4 people carrying one wounded soldier on a simple stretcher, while running from the front line through fields and trenches.

The most inspiring battle was when 300 women defend Sparta from the persian empire or when thousand of us american women stormed the german defence lines at the D-Day 1944. There were fighters but majority went for support as their body weren't trained since childhood and their physique couldn't excel in combat all of a sudden, unlike the women I mentioned above. So from what I've taken, the title is misleading in order to support a narrative. What really happens is a group of soldiers moves a wounded comrade into cover, and one of those soldiers so happens to be Female.
