Nice Video Ryan, have you ever considered making videos about R itself?

Thanks for the vid! Works first time. I'm using Mendeley to manage my references. All I had it do was save everything in a .bib file, and everything just worked!

Hey man, thanks for the video. But how to use a custom style file for bibliography (*.cls), that was originally built for latex, but contains the formats that my University demands? I study in Brazil, and we have our own style norms here, not APA, Harvard, Chicago, etc.

IIRC i think that might be something you need to include in your LaTeX preamble which can then be referred to in your RMarkdown document YAML header

That's really helpful. Do you know if it could be possible to justify text in markdown using the same or similar approach?

Probably use what ever arbitrary LaTeX you need in the document to achieve that but likely possible. It gets more tricky if you need to work with imported packages and therefore need to import a LaTeX preamble

@@BryanJenks Ok I need to thank you. Did my research, you are right and rstudio allowed me to add a series of LaTex definitions to a *.rmd file and now my articles are close to perfect in terms of formatting, the content is debatable though. I watched your video about what is rmarkdown and it guided me to search for the things I needed. You need to get more subscribers that are in social sciences like me, we don't need to be spoonfed, just pointed in the right direction. Again, great channel, awesome content, very well explained, can't thank you enough.
